How I stay positive and calm

People ask me all the time – how do you manage to stay so positive and calm? I am usually not writing about such topics, but having in mind the whole situation with the Covid-19 virus now, I decided to lay down some words on this question.

We often look at the world and consider it as negative. That’s not surprising, because just taking a glance at the news media could make the steadiest person depressed. Or looking around and realising how often people say dumb things about each other, how some show their jealousy and hate – it happens everyday and everywhere. But calling the whole world negative would be a misjudgment. It will only cause frustration which makes you even more angry and unhappy.

If you blame others for your negative feelings, nobody would hear or know about it – it would be only you who suffers. But if you try to blame yourself for your own negative feelings, you are making a step ahead ot at least make progress. But to really stay positive stopping blaming is the wisest thing to do.

Some of the other things that make me positive are. First – I don’t take everything personally – we very often analyse every single word people say or things they do, but all that is not always personal. Second – I let my feelings out and say what I think. Our Life is basically one challenge after the other and very often we keep our feelings “in a safe place” – inside ourselves. I try to not keep inside feelings like anger, frustration and anxiety on one side and joy, happiness, loveliness, etc. on the other. Third – I learned to be grateful about everything, good or bad, because even from the bad you can learn good lessons. And last but not least – if you want to be positive don’t stay on the same spot for too long and constantly work on yourself and follow your dreams, because if you do, you know that you have a chance to improve your life. And to me, that’s the best use of my time and energy. Also never forget to give your love even to people that don’t like you.

At the end I want to share this great quote: “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”/Napoleon Hill/ – doing small things in the right direction, will for sure make you feel better.

Just a few words about the outfit that goes with this post – a sweater in one of the 2020 colors – blue, combined with white and black, matched with one of my favorite Calzedonia faux fur leggings, Michael Kors booties, trendy black sunglasses and a Diana&Co Firenze Italian bag

Crazy cats

The post today is a special one – not just about fashion, but also about something that excited me a lot during my last visit to Milano. I had the chance to visit a fabulous coffee house, namely the Crazy Cat Cafè. It is the first and only café in Milan and, for now, in all Lombardy, to have nine cats, all slick and with the most disparate characters that wander around and play among tables, stools and armchairs. A welcoming café between Piazza Repubblica and the Central Station, where you can start your day off with the right dose of sweetness or have a relaxing, cuddly break.

It is so wonderful to drink your coffee surrounded by those cute animals while enjoying the cosy atmosphere and decoration of the location itself. I can definitely say that for me that was the most enjoyable coffee break I had in Milan so far.

Still a few words about my outfit – because of the approaching holidays I chose the red color as the dominating one – red accessories combined with a checkered coat, a black oversized tunic and eye-catching „Primadona“ booties.

All white with a touch of hot pink

After a little shopping at Stradivarius, I was inspired to style something elegant, vivid and casual. My new pink blazer was a perfect choice to look stylish and attractive. Meanwhile I am a person who loves comfortable clothing, so I picked a pair of white skinny jeans and a white top – I really like wearing all white with just a touch of color. As for shoes I chose black printed heels with the same bag from Humanic.

Spring gives me wings

After a long winter, the days are getting warmer and the sun is staying out longer. I love the change of seasons. Every new season has something beautiful to offer. So is with the fashion – new trends and new colors are waiting for us. And as the fashion spring/summer palette is full with shades of sun colors, I find them gathered in this wonderful butterfly tunic. The outfit is complemented with those chic pink sunglasses, which also have the form of a butterfly and follow the current pink trend.

When winter gives way to spring, for me this is the favourite change of seasons, as it reminds me it’s time to start getting ready for the coming summer – I am so excited preparing my summer wardrobe… what about you?

Gifts

Some gifts are big. Other are small. But the ones that come from the heart are the best gifts of all. /Tinku Razoria/

I hope you’ve got already your Christmas gifts, but at Fracomina there is always something to look for. And if you want something really special, you can have a look at the premiere collection. I feel always great wearing Fracomina – it is a different and outstanding Italian style.

Fracomina stories

My post and outfit today are once again inspired by one of my favourite brands – Fracomina.

If I look for the perfect jeans – the answer is always Fracomina denim. Every season they are my perfect eye catchers but this fall/winter season their “stories” are more than amazing – nice jeans, romantic shirts, blouses, dresses, cardigans and coats, all of them full of tender elements and colors like a love story.

The romantic side of Fracomina leaves you breathless – see for yourself: www.fracomina.it

And as for my look today – a tender skin colored blouse with velvet chenille roses and high super skinny “High Audry Capri Gold Rain” jeans, of course matched in a fashionway.

If you are in the US, you should definitely visit and see the collection yourself at the Fracomina store US.

Motorcycle mood, but first good Italian coffee and food

I have always said that I like Italian coffee, food and fashion very much, but I can also say this for Italian motorcycles. I was a bit hesitant to take on this challenge again, especially in the big city, but I knew the feeling will be more than exciting.

People say „the need for speed“ catch you at a very young age, almost similar to the fashion fever and as I had a motorcycle some years ago, I wanted to enjoy this feeling again. And, in relation to that, I wanted to show you one of my favorite street style outfits – jeans, a leather jacket, backpack and of course once again a touch of teddy feeling – a teddy sweater.
