Dressing room in a fashionway

I have always dreamed of a dedicated dressing room space and now, in our new house, it is slowly becoming a reality. I decided to have the furniture in a modern white finish, which I find perfect for storing clothes and accessories – towers with shelves, hang areas, drawers, open shelving as well as shoe and bag shelving. It is still a work in progress, so follow my posts for updates…

Once everything is installed, I am going to work on filling my room – shoes and folded items, like sweaters and jeans stored in the open shelving, long dresses and pants I will
place on the hanging rod; and my most frequently used fall-winter outwear I will move to the center of my closet for quick and easy access.

The all-so-needed black-and-white dog-tooth armchair is already in place. At the end I’ll put the finishing touches on my new space by adding a nice white bench, a rug, and some cute decorations amidst my accessories, in a fashionway.

Cute dress and casual plain boots

A pair of boots are year-round wardrobe staples both for warmer or cold months – from classic white boots to the over the knee ones. Such are the timeless combat boots – a season-less pair which work with any outfit – even with a nice dress.

I have always considered that a nice black dress matches in the best way with heels but depending on the occasion it can work great with boots too. As I am so much in love with my super comfortable MONKI black boots (that I featured in an earlier sports outfit post), this time I rounded up another style of outfit with a black Zara flounce, volan dress of course in a fashion way.

There’s nothing like a pair of chunky black boots to add some edge to a cute dress.

Sweater time trend

The classic autumn/winter trends are definitely the knit sweaters. But classic does not always mean boring. In the meantime there is a large choice of beautiful knit sweaters with lovely and eye-catching details like laces, holes and braids. The choice of colors is broad by itself, but I tend to prefer the light and pastel ones.

You can combine the knit sweater with nearly anything in your outfit easily – casual with jeans, skirts or leather imitations – it will always fit well.

My outfit today is a casual one made with a Bershka violett hoodie style sweater, a pair of Bershka balloon light blue jeans, a violett belly bag and mint colored sneakers matched with cool socks of the same color.

The boots season has arrived

At fall-winter time I love comfort in choosing the shoes but always combined with femininity when making the outfits. This pair of MONKI Boots are one of my must-haves for cold days and I am really in love with them. In any case a leather look jacket is a choice that fits to most of my outfits, and another must-have. As a black lover, today I made my look all in black – black short Zara top, leather look Calzedonia cycling shorts, Pull & Bear black leather look jacket, MONKI black boots and a little cute black H&M bag.

But, no matter the choice of color, let your light shine in a fashionway!

One sleeve shirt – yes or no?

Every season a new model of shirt becomes more popular than others – one of them right now is the one sleeve shirt. I have always thought that it’s extremely uncomfortable – you don’t really know for season it is made – one side being like for the summer, while the other like for the cold times. But I think it’s really suits well for the autumn.

With this shirt you get the feeling that it is still summer (I like that very much because don’t want it to go), but at the same time you have a long sleeve on, well suited for the present times. What can be better? I like it also because it’s eye-catching and it’s matchable with lots of things – jeans, skirts, etc. I matched it with cool balloon jeans, open shoes tied trendily to the jeans and a really comfortable belly bag. Belly bags are not only trendy but also very practical. Hope you like this outfit, matched in a fashionway.
