Long dress crochet pattern

The summer months are a great time to enjoy the beach wearing our favourite „must-haves“. Some of the things we need are nice bikini sets, a sun hat, sunglasses, etc., but for for me a must have is also a cover-up, or a light long cloth like summer tunics, caftans, thin dresses.

With the wide, billowy sleeves and the draped, airy fit, this garment fits and flatters every body type. Not to mention, the loose cut also keeps you cool on warm days and balmy nights.

Such is my crochet style white tunic from Zara today – it helps protect me from the sun while makes me feel elegant even on the beach. Of course I combined it with a Calzedonia bikini set – a black one, because I love combining black and white. The sunglasses I chose are from Michael Kors.

Bikini Trends 2021

After so many months at home and under lockdown everyone is dreaming about a holiday. Despite the current situation we should do our best to stay optimistic and plan for some days on the beach in the summer (I had the chance to go to the beach this year already during my visit to Dubai). In that line of thought I want to share with you some bikini trends for the upcoming hot days.

Asymmetric bikini – they flow along the body and set interesting accents with unusual cut-outs or reversed straps – for instance one-shoulder or cut-outs on the waistline in pink or other „sweet“ colors.

Exotic prints in zebra, snake or leopard looks, but not in bright colors. Instead of that in pastel, toned-down colors, because that makes the animal patterns look elegant.

Multi-functional bikinis – the ones that are not only for the beach, but can also be worn on the way there or even when going out – for instance a short top with boxer pants.

But all in all remember that trendy is what fits you the best, no matter the trend – even a sweater with bikini pants, matched well, on a beautiful sunset.

Roses, models, summer mood

Roses, models, summer mood

I visited today the fabulous coastal restaurant “Il Siciliano” near St. Vlas, Bulgaria – there I attended a small fashion show they had organised. The topic was on summer mood and relaxed, fluff, semi-transparent apparel. The atmosphere was fitting, but luxurious, with the appropriate beats by the DJ.

There was this hanging chair full of roses, and I could not resist taking the opportunity for a few fashion shots myself. I felt great in my beach outfit in my own fashionway – black and white fitted great to the white ship with the dark sails.

Summer club

Summer club

What’s better than spending the day with a summer club outfit on the beach, marvelling the beautiful yachts and feeling the scent of the sea breeze. Although the bikinis are considered sexier and thereby the preferred beach outfit, a good one piece swimsuit can emphasise on a woman’s shapes and look just as sexy. And of course red can help that emphasis. Normally I do not like red, but at the beach it fits perfectly – remember Baywatch?

Summer, sun, fun...

Summer, sun, fun…

What is the summer without sea, sand, seagulls, pool und the gentle touch of the summer breeze. I feel the strength of the summer the most when close to the sea and it fills me up with energy.

For me nothing says summer like a cool print on a shirt – be it a chic flamingo or a cocktail. In the past few years flamingos became part of the summer and this year the hit is pool floats, bags, sunglasses, hats and shoes. They fill the summer with lots of fun and bring style in in a fashionway.
