The Fiakers

Today, I decided to show you something that is typical for Vienna – the two-horse carriages named „fiakers“. They are just as much a part of Vienna as St. Stephen’s cathedral and the Giant Vieneese Ferris Wheel. The fiaker make the cityscape so typical that everyone could feel the majestic of Vienna and although I am living since many years here every time I see them my heart beats faster.

These splendid horses and the royal looking carriages made me, while standing next to them, also look marvellous. And because my favourite horses are white I chose a white top, shoes and bag, matched with a beige pleated maxi skirt. These skirts are not only trendy, but also comfortable, light and airy – perfect for the hot summer days. You can match them in many ways with many different tops and shirts, but never forget to do it in a fashionway.

How do you wear your colored shoes?

No matter how many pairs of color we own, it’s the black ones that we most often reach for. Obviously, matching colored shoes to your look requires a bit more thought and effort than simply putting on some easy go-to shoe.

For my shoes today I chose one of the nowadays hot and trendy colors – orange. If your outfit has a color in it, you can match your shoes in any shade of that colour. Or you can use your shoes and bag, without having the same color in your outfit, just in order to put an accent on it.

Orange Shoes go best with: blue, white, earth tones, red, purple. In this case I matched them with a short olive green skirt that emphasises on the long legs. In addition a white shirt with orange flowers goes great in a fashion way.

A favourite hoodie look

There is no better companion in the spring/summer than the hoodie – trendy, comfortable and really cool. I tend to like the casual and simple but eye-catching things, so the hoody is just the thing for me. It also goes nearly with everything.

Although the quickest and simplest combination is with jeans and sneakers – here I chose a skirt which is also fashionable and comfortable. The best footwear that matches the outfit are my white Fila sneakers that are so trendy and I love them so much. Accessories are not to be forgotten – a Michael Kors backpack and the pink glasses which complement the roses on the hoodie, in a fashionway.

Summer street style in pastel

This is to continue to show you another great side of the mint green color. I’m loving this mint green blouse from Stradivarius – it’s super soft, stretchy and feels light as a feather. Plus, I love the lace, which makes this piece elegant and of course, chic.

This particular mint green top combined with milk summer jeans which also have a mint touch, make a nice silhouette, which gives more of a casual vibe.

I love outfits with a pop of color and that’s exactly what I’m doing here. Mint is one of my favorites to play with during spring and summer. To make this outfit even more exciting, I’m using different shades of mint green with shoes which add a modern touch. Previously I always thought I should never wear pastel colors because they are too boring, but I just love them now and love to make different combinations especially with the textures of the mint green.

Inspired to give mint green a try!

You don’t really see the mint green color very often, especially when it comes to clothing, but it’s trendy right now and is a great choice if you want to add some variety to your daily outfits. Matching it with other colors could be risky but don’t be afraid to experiment. I really love mixing colors together and the mint green is a good base for many others – for instance lavender, pink, blue etc., but dark blue is my favourite. I match a mint top with dark blue trousers and finish that with a white bag and shoes.

I hope you like this outfit and would also become inspired to give mint green a try in your fashion way! You can definitely wear it anywhere, anytime, all summer long!

Neon green in the nature

I have always associated the light green color with new growth in nature, new beginnings, the coming back to life of plants, new energy, freshness and renewal. That’s why my new post with the trendy neon green is out in the nature today – a natural look surrounded by the healing power of the green color.

And what do we like to wear in spring – something comfortable, casual, light, something that makes us feel free and relaxed. Jeans are always a perfect goal – no matter what happens they are always in fashion. The combination of light color with a high waist is cool and up-to-date now. I am really fond of matching them with wide short shirt and colorful floral summer shoes.

Moreover for me the light green color is like a green light which gives me hope for creating new things and makes me more ambitious – so let the green spring bring you new hope and ambition, too!

How I style a read maxi pleated skirt

A pleated maxi skirt is definitely a must have this season. With its longer length and a small waist it creates a beautiful woman silhouette. The pleated pretty trend includes both the casual and the more elegant styles.

There are many possibilities and colors to style an outfit but I choose ones that spice it up – red and pink. Wearing these two together was once considered a fashion don’t, but nowadays it is one of the trendiest color combinations.

You can easily match a candy pink top with pink accessories and a red pleated skirt. On one side I chose a pink pullover and on the other a white top, both with decorative elements, because it was sunset at Black sea coast, but not warm and cosy like in summer, hence the long sleeve as an addition to the T-Shirt. The pink bag brings its accent and the black sexy ankle boots are the best choice for this fashionable color attack mix.

All white with a touch of hot pink

After a little shopping at Stradivarius, I was inspired to style something elegant, vivid and casual. My new pink blazer was a perfect choice to look stylish and attractive. Meanwhile I am a person who loves comfortable clothing, so I picked a pair of white skinny jeans and a white top – I really like wearing all white with just a touch of color. As for shoes I chose black printed heels with the same bag from Humanic.

Floral feeling

Dresses that feature flowers and floral patterns are often our spring and summer staple. With this article, picking some floral patterns I want to show you how they bring out your confident femininity. Floral print dresses styled the right way and outerwear are easily worn and could make the look of gloom.

While a floral dress is great in theory, in fact it is often a challenge to pull off, so choosing the right floral patterns is important to fit your body and style.

Consider that larger flowers are more flattering to smaller body types – you should not go for oversized floral patterns if you have a shapely one because those may add a few kilos to your silhouette. If your body type is slim to average, try combining larger with smaller floral patterns.

Also, consider the background color of your floral dress – a bright background fits perfectly on a thinner body, while choosing a darker one will give you a more tailored and tapered look and the illusion of being slimmer.

At the end a floral concept must fit to your mood, style and complete your femininity, of course in a fashionway.

Feeling lazy and casual today

There are some days when you wake up and you’re just like „nope, not today“, especially when it rains and the mood goes down. You just want to go outside, casual and lazy and don’t think about your outfit too much.

My „nope“ today means „no“ to the bad mood. There is something good in every day and every weather. Let‘s smile, wear funny casual clothes ans enjoy the spring time with all it’s beauty. And what does spring beauty mean – blooming flowers, wonderful inspiring smells, freshness everywhere even from the falling rain.

For me, one of the symbols of spring is the lilac bush, adding abundant color to the landscape and scent the air with fragrance. It makes me also especially very happy because violet with all its nuances, bright or dark, is one of trending spring colors. It can be easily combined with neutral ones like grey, white and beige, but meanwhile a combination with gold ot metallic is also perfect. In addition a well combined natural mix between green and violet also deserves a compliment and look elegant in a fashion way.
