Casual, street style but chic with neon

There is no denying that your shoe choice alone can make or break an outfit. So, I breakdown my must have shoe trends for my summer wardrobe with neon accessories.

Admittedly, I wasn’t quick to jump on the neon trend when I saw it popping up in everything from bags to apparel to footwear. But with the time I like it. And also now in autumn I match and wear with pleasure every neon piece.

Here I put my neon heels together with some skinny jeans and a nice top with a shirt in trendy autumn colors. As you know I like simple and confortable outfits but am always trying to spice them up with eye catching items.

So, fall/winter 2019-2020 is set to be a season of contrast and the neon trend continues. That said – don’t be afraid to continue matching neon colors in your outfits, ofcourse in a fashion way.

Hoodie trend

The hoodie trend is very active at the moment and got everyone talking. But what makes it so popular? Well, it’s inexpensive, easy to style, but most importantly it’s comfortable and fits perfectly to the street style.

I believe nearly everyone has a hoodie in their wardrobe. So, it is very easy to grab one and make a full outfit out of it. But take care – because hoodies are relatively loose and chillig, you have to pick some more elegant toursers. I combine it most often with skinny jeans or fake leather leggings. It could also work with chinos, but if you go for daily jogging pants, your look will quickly become too homy cand casual.

Today I decided to go for a classical hoodie in a very trendy fuxia color, combined with black skinny jeans. To break away from the sporty look of the top, I completed the outfit with an elegant bag and funky sneakers. I love breaking standard styles: in this case a mix of classic and sporty, in a fashion way.

Is it possible to look stylish with cycling pants?

Why cycling shorts are a hit lately? How could you wear them? Are they only for sport? I try to answer theese questions in this post.

First of all – they are very comfortable – dividing the lycra-clad and the lycra-averse these pants are a triumph of practicality over style and meanwhile chick, cool and are enchancing the shape of the leg. Secondly, they are not just for sport – you can make different outfits even combined with a formal blazer.

A famous example of a celebrity who liked to wear them is Princess Diana – already 30 years ago she started the trend that is reappearing today. Also promis like Hailey Baldwin, Kim Kardashian, and Bella Hadid started often sporting them and photos in that style are all over the fashion blogs.

Don’t be afraid to match stretching, tight-fitting cycling pants with blousons, hoodies, jumpers, sweatshirts, etc, so you can feel comfortable not only in a casual, but also in an elegant way.

Here I matched one of my favorite black pants with a pale pink Chanel blazer. Surely the nice shoes and the bag will only make the outfit nicer, of course in a fashion way.

How do you wear your colored shoes?

No matter how many pairs of color we own, it’s the black ones that we most often reach for. Obviously, matching colored shoes to your look requires a bit more thought and effort than simply putting on some easy go-to shoe.

For my shoes today I chose one of the nowadays hot and trendy colors – orange. If your outfit has a color in it, you can match your shoes in any shade of that colour. Or you can use your shoes and bag, without having the same color in your outfit, just in order to put an accent on it.

Orange Shoes go best with: blue, white, earth tones, red, purple. In this case I matched them with a short olive green skirt that emphasises on the long legs. In addition a white shirt with orange flowers goes great in a fashion way.

A favourite hoodie look

There is no better companion in the spring/summer than the hoodie – trendy, comfortable and really cool. I tend to like the casual and simple but eye-catching things, so the hoody is just the thing for me. It also goes nearly with everything.

Although the quickest and simplest combination is with jeans and sneakers – here I chose a skirt which is also fashionable and comfortable. The best footwear that matches the outfit are my white Fila sneakers that are so trendy and I love them so much. Accessories are not to be forgotten – a Michael Kors backpack and the pink glasses which complement the roses on the hoodie, in a fashionway.

How I style a read maxi pleated skirt

A pleated maxi skirt is definitely a must have this season. With its longer length and a small waist it creates a beautiful woman silhouette. The pleated pretty trend includes both the casual and the more elegant styles.

There are many possibilities and colors to style an outfit but I choose ones that spice it up – red and pink. Wearing these two together was once considered a fashion don’t, but nowadays it is one of the trendiest color combinations.

You can easily match a candy pink top with pink accessories and a red pleated skirt. On one side I chose a pink pullover and on the other a white top, both with decorative elements, because it was sunset at Black sea coast, but not warm and cosy like in summer, hence the long sleeve as an addition to the T-Shirt. The pink bag brings its accent and the black sexy ankle boots are the best choice for this fashionable color attack mix.

Spring gives me wings

After a long winter, the days are getting warmer and the sun is staying out longer. I love the change of seasons. Every new season has something beautiful to offer. So is with the fashion – new trends and new colors are waiting for us. And as the fashion spring/summer palette is full with shades of sun colors, I find them gathered in this wonderful butterfly tunic. The outfit is complemented with those chic pink sunglasses, which also have the form of a butterfly and follow the current pink trend.

When winter gives way to spring, for me this is the favourite change of seasons, as it reminds me it’s time to start getting ready for the coming summer – I am so excited preparing my summer wardrobe… what about you?

What makes me different makes me beautiful

I have many favourite quotes, but this one from Coco Chanel is in my top ten: „Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself“. That said, I have always believed that being yourself is priceless and it’s what makes you beautiful.

Of course we still have to follow all trends, news and the fashion in general in order to be up to date. But the fashion world is like an endless ocean we must learn to swim in, every season, year, month, week and day.

And what best to fit the winter season than the white, even when it blends into the snow around us. It goes even better with a pair of black boots and fluffy coat, to achieve the always trendy black and white combination. Though high heel boots are not typical for the real snowy winter I like them very much and they make me feel elegant in this outfit, because elegance is not only standing out, but being remembered.

So be you, be different, be yourself!

White boots inspiration

From summer to winter, white continues to be the ultimate fashion color for shoes and there is no sign of slowing down.

Before getting into the details of this outfit, I’m going to be completely honest and tell you that I hated to wear white boots, so when I first saw those I thought they are too chic and not my style. Just as it happens with other styles that look strange at first, but later catch up to be trendy, so it happened to me with this one – the white boots are different and strange, but I liked them so much that I wanted to have them on my legs as soon as possible. And although I do like real leather shoes, thees were the best less-expensive non-leather alternative I could find and I was not about to invest in something super expensive just like that.

Of course afterwards came the question what to combine them with in an outfit – especially considering I was still a bit unsure how I felt about it. The outfit you see here is probably the 5th attempt at styling it, but it’s the one I liked the most when pieced together. The idea was to stay pretty simple with the rest of the outfit and let the boots do the talking, but of course without trying too hard. And I think the white poncho and boots combination looks really cool – by the way I like the black leggings a lot better than a pair of denim jeans.

So, I know this style is maybe not be a typical casual, streetstyle outfit, but I’m sure some of you might also like it as a white solution for the white winter. And if you’ve also been trying to style white boots as well, then take the challenge and try something similar on and see what you think! Let me know!
