Oversized bomber jacket in winter

Thick and well oversized, a bomber jacket is a great choice for the cold winter days. My Zara model in gold and green combines the winter and street styles at the same time. Although the gold and green might already be too shiny, I decided to add even more by choosing some green-gold glittering Calzedonia leggings, but softened them with a black oversized Tezenis sweater and black sock boots that also match with their shining block heels.

This eye-catching shiny outfit fascinates me to wear it, even though I am not really a fan of the combination of green and gold colors. I usually tend to combine green in my other casual outfits with black and beige and always try to add an elegant accent in a shiny color – for example red or orange. Because of that in today’s outfit I decided for gold.

What should you combine a bomber jacket with?

A basic outfit with such a jacket can be a combination with jeans, leggings, stylish pullover or a hoodie and low boots or sneakers. For the bolder, they could add some yellow or even blue, because everything out of the ordinary or out of the etiquette is appreciated more. As for those of you who prefer to stay more decent, you can combine it with grey, beige or black.

Me personally, I tend to prefer the decent colors more, but once in a while I like mixing outstanding outfits, of course in a fashionway.

Classy and cool day time look in black and brown

Isn’t it crazy how you can transform a casual T-shirt and jeans look to casual chic almost instantaneously as soon as you throw on a faux fur and a teddy coat? There is something about the black and brown tones and faux fur that gives an elegant, romantic and feminine feel. I feel absolutely darling in that faux leather pants and teddy coat combined with the black flat casual booties.

Fashion trends come and go, but one that retains its timeless style is the fake fur. Such a jacket is a statement outwear any fashionista should have when the temperatures start to drop. And also a good faux puff-piece could not only keep you nice and snug, but it could also single handedly glam up any ensemble.

From teddy to oversized jackets, to vibrant colors and funky chic patterns / prints – this is one cold-weather piece your wardrobe needs.

I have already rounded up some of my favourite stylish fake fur outfits and inspirations to help you rock this furry trend, in a fashionway – a dark brown teddy coat, a beige sweater, black Pimkie faux fur leather backpipe pants, a Gucci scarf, a black Pinko bag and a pair of cool flat booties.

Dogtooth print

It’s the trend that combines two true loves – pets and prints – yes, it’s dogtooth. First seen in Scotland back in the 1800s, it has been a wardrobe favourite which had its ups and downs through the years – but I’m pretty happy that it’s back again.

From all the black and white prints that I love, dogtooth is definitely one of my favourites. These dogtooth trousers from Calzedonia have been in my wardrobe for a while, but I have actually worn them just a handful of times – a reason might be that I was not really sure what to combine them with. Today I matched them with a black shirt featuring details with the same print – I think print with print items pair well. I find a gray coat to be a good complement to the outfit, as a black one would be too boring. I’m really digging this combo though. It has a bit of a retro feel to it, without being too gimmicky. The black boots from Zara and the Pinko bag finish the outfit as accents, in a fashionway.

Something checkered – yes, of course!

Checkered pants or leggings – I’m going for both . They are just beautiful and almost everyone is wearing them because they have this chic vibe to them. French style mixed with retro, they are like this fashion challenge everyone’s doing, wearing them to fit their own looks. Some girls wear them with sneakers, some go for heels; some wear them relaxed and chic, while others go for sleek office formal styles.

I like wearing them on different occasions, but today I am going in a city street style and match my checkered Calzedonia leggings with a simple black shirt, accessories and once again one of my favorite teddy coats – the one in yellow.

For achieving a classic look with such kind of pants, grab a basic shirt or singlet out from the back of your wardrobe and pair it with them. White, grey, naxy, black and tan tops are also great options, matched in a fashion way.

Teddy coat trend

All over the streets, the teddy coat has been worn by various faces. It’s clear that this new outwear has taken over today’s street style and almost everyone likes it.

The teddy jacket trend revolves around the look of a cozy, faux fur coat that seems to resemble a teddy bear, hence the appropriate name. The trend that started back in 2016 is still around with its classic style while at the same time evolving into different colors, shapes and silhouettes.

After the fall of 2018, it was clear that the appeal of the teddy coat has tremendously increased. The coat also goes by other names such as faux fur, soft fur jacket, sherpas, teddy coat and any fuzzy descriptive phrases.

As the teddy coat comes with a lot of versatility, allowing for any person to incorporate their personal touch, influencers and celebrities also manage to style theirs in their own way in order to hop on the trend.

All that said – will this trend last? I would say it will stay, for several reasons – it’s cosy, comfortable and warm – ideal for the cold months; at the same time it’s street style and fashionable; it keeps being promoted for already several years in a row, and last but far from least – it is fake leather, no animals harmed.

In the upcoming years, the teddy coat may become even more of a „classic staple“ just like the leather jacket in the past. When buying clothes I always consider if I would be able to wear them more than one season, but with this one I have no worries – I know, no matter the color or style, it will keep finding the way out of my wardrobe.

My outfit today is, of course, with a soft faux fur hooded coat in a yellow trendy color, matched with my always favourite, no matter the brand, skinny jeans from Only and a checkered dark blue shirt (again a trendy color) and black Michael Kors sock sneakers.

How to wear a rust colored sweater

Today I made my look with one of my favourite sweaters in rust color, because it’s very popular this season. This color is one of the trendiest colors in the fall/winter 2019. If such a sweater doesn’t work for you, you should be able to find something similar in that color, in a cut or fit that works better for you. Now, onto the outfit!

I love how this type of sweater looks against black faux leather leggings!

Faux leather leggings are back for the fall in new on-trend colors and prints and they
continue to be a wardrobe essential. They manage to imitate the look and feel of real leather very well and are making life a lot easier being so comfortable and versatile. I like to wear leggings with tops that are longer – relaxed sweaters like this one are just perfect.

Meanwhile this sweater would go very well also with black or blue skinny jeans.

To make the outfit really pop, I also went for black accessories – a black Victoria Secrets bag and a Gucci belt. To finish I added my comfy Zara black block heels booties.

This look would of course also work with any of these trendy colors for the sweater – mustard, olive, mocha, grey, and a happy yellow. Try it in a fashion way!

Casual glam with guacamole green

There are two shades of green trending in this Fall 2019’s fashion colors, very different from each other – guacamole and eden. Guacamole is my favorite and it is considered one of the „Classics“ this season, being called „nutrient-enriched“ green. Eden on the other hand is a forest green.

Moreover, guacamole green is great if you wish to be bold on color this season because it’s tasteful, soul-calming and very refreshing. It’s somehow intriguing and untypical. Certainly a color to make you stand out.

I found my best matching part for outfits at CALZEDONIA – a pair of glam leggings. And as I currently tend to stick to the oversized sweaters and blousons here I combine it with a long yellow one from Pimkie. Here I find the black accessories a perfekt match – they include shoes by Zara and a Tally WEiJL belly bag. Meanwhile the belly bags are not only in trend byt they are also comfortable and can be eye-catching in a fashionway.

Sugar almond over-the-knee boots – sexy, classy, elegant and stylish

There is no doubt – over-the-knee boots are always desired and if they are worn properly they could be even more interesting than they look. The most important thing to consider when wearing this kind of boots is choosing minimalistic outfits – this always leads to the coolest looks.

In this case simplicity is the better choice when matching the clothes. A short dress, a tunic, a long blazer or a blouse/sweater with a short skirt are always a great match. One of my favorite combinations when going casual is with a long oversized sweater. Oversized und baggy tops are the perfect go – tight-fitting tops don’t look as fashionable with high boots. Also, avoid wearing over-the-knee boots with leather, deep décolleté, or leopard prints. Instead, you should pair them with clothing that is covered up at least one way, such as turtleneck sweaters, maxi hemlines or a coat to top off your look.

As for color, black over-the-knee boots are beautiful and elegant. They complement any other color of the dress. But gray and brown high boots are also good choices – like the black high boots, they are worth keeping. And because I like variety in my outfits I chose a pair of trendy sugar almond colored boots with an oversized long dark grey sweater. Sugar almond color is one of the top colors for the fall/winter 2019 – it is a sweet, smoky shade of brown, but lighter. It’s mixed with other tones of warmth that gives it an appetising and sweet appearance, in a fashion way.

Casual, street style but chic with neon

There is no denying that your shoe choice alone can make or break an outfit. So, I breakdown my must have shoe trends for my summer wardrobe with neon accessories.

Admittedly, I wasn’t quick to jump on the neon trend when I saw it popping up in everything from bags to apparel to footwear. But with the time I like it. And also now in autumn I match and wear with pleasure every neon piece.

Here I put my neon heels together with some skinny jeans and a nice top with a shirt in trendy autumn colors. As you know I like simple and confortable outfits but am always trying to spice them up with eye catching items.

So, fall/winter 2019-2020 is set to be a season of contrast and the neon trend continues. That said – don’t be afraid to continue matching neon colors in your outfits, ofcourse in a fashion way.

Hoodie trend

The hoodie trend is very active at the moment and got everyone talking. But what makes it so popular? Well, it’s inexpensive, easy to style, but most importantly it’s comfortable and fits perfectly to the street style.

I believe nearly everyone has a hoodie in their wardrobe. So, it is very easy to grab one and make a full outfit out of it. But take care – because hoodies are relatively loose and chillig, you have to pick some more elegant toursers. I combine it most often with skinny jeans or fake leather leggings. It could also work with chinos, but if you go for daily jogging pants, your look will quickly become too homy cand casual.

Today I decided to go for a classical hoodie in a very trendy fuxia color, combined with black skinny jeans. To break away from the sporty look of the top, I completed the outfit with an elegant bag and funky sneakers. I love breaking standard styles: in this case a mix of classic and sporty, in a fashion way.
