Cream colors layering

Now that it is so cold in Vienna, I really need a thick coat and this NA-KD one is one of my best choices – I just love it. Not only is it super warm and fluffy, but it’s also in one of my favorite colors this season. And the rest of this outfit I also matched in the same cream palette. I combined it with this great looking one-shoulder Zara sweater, white Gucci jeans and beige velour boots. I love layering up for the cold days and matching up similar light colors. To finish the outfit off I went for black accessories – one of my favorite Pinko bags, a black beanie and gloves, both decorated with cream pearls, I hope you like it!

Dreaming of a white Christmas

I always imagined Christmas with everything covered with snow, cosiness at home and the whole family gathered together. Sadly this strange year we got no snow in Vienna (as usual) and travels to meet the grandparents is out of the question due to the Covid restrictions. We also used to travel to the Alps for some skiing every year, but as it seems that will also not be possible now. But I compensate the lack of the snow white feeling by wearing white-cream outfits.

I wear all white more often in summer, but like now, when it’s very grey and cold for so long, I feel like going for something brighter. White outfits immediately make you look fresh and lift (at least for me) the mood. In order not to look like a snow hare, I added a cream jacket and shoes to the otherwise all-white cozy soft Zara trousers and shirt. Meanwhile I was not eager to wear this type of trousers as they make the legs appear wider, but they are really very comfy.

White and cream colored

I love wearing shades of white and cream color no matter the season and especially now to bust out in the winter… to really lighten things up.

White coats look great in all cuts and styles and because this season belongs to teddy coats I choose again one of them in white.

Why pick a white coat? Because it looks glamorous and refined, rich and sophisticated. There is something about a white coat, an all-white look in the cold season or a classic white coat on top of any colored outfit – it screams impeccable style.

But how to wear a white coat without feeling like polar bear? Some black accessories like a black bag, sunglasses or tights as accents and funky gloves always works so fabulous with a white coat. Very trendy and chic.

Here I’m sharing one of my favorite winter white cream outfit – a MONKI coat, cardigan, skirt and sweater, a pair of white Fila sneakers, Calzedonia tights and a Christian Dior bag.

The child is still in me

Have you ever had the feeling that the child in you keeps living, because with me it’s a fact – for example I get excited about each new character Disney makes a movie with. I adore Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Sleeping beauty, Cinderella, Tangled, Moana, Elsa and more or less all princesses… So I will be sure to go and see the Frozen 2 movie soon.

There was something magical about Elsa singing „Let it go“ in the first part and I am 100% here for whatever hopefully-not-terrible sequel Disney wants me to see.

And what about the trailer – it tells us… eh. Nothing. It’s autumn in this movie! The same old characters will be in it! Elsa will get trapped on an island? Sven has to leave his natural habitat? Anna needs to fight with a sword? There’s not much plot to work with here. There’s not even any spoken lines of dialogue. Queen Elsa still has her ice skills.

Six years ago Disney rolled out the first part, and since then Frozen is all around us. For the first time we had a Disney movie that was not all about Princesses finding their dream Princes – it was a story about the relations between two very different sisters – Anna and Elsa. So I am very curious to see what will follow now…

I am feeling cute between the two princesses – with my soft white coat, rust colour skirt, matching Levi’s skirt and white Skechers sneakers.

A plaid blanket scarf with winter white

I’m sure many of you already have one, or have at least seen them everywhere. Indoors or out, a plaid blanket scarf could be worn for both its style and warmth.

A chequered scarf is always a nice must-have among the other fashion pieces in the wardrobe – it is comfortable, cozy and very chic. And, a combination with winter white makes for a really a classy look. With a sweater (but not really pure white because of the material), ecru white jeans and a black belt, like in the ones you can see me wearing here, you can be in style to hit off no matter where. The outfit works perfect for a walk, going on a little trip, do some shopping and even at work. You will really look stylish and dressed in a fashion way.

What makes me different makes me beautiful

I have many favourite quotes, but this one from Coco Chanel is in my top ten: „Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself“. That said, I have always believed that being yourself is priceless and it’s what makes you beautiful.

Of course we still have to follow all trends, news and the fashion in general in order to be up to date. But the fashion world is like an endless ocean we must learn to swim in, every season, year, month, week and day.

And what best to fit the winter season than the white, even when it blends into the snow around us. It goes even better with a pair of black boots and fluffy coat, to achieve the always trendy black and white combination. Though high heel boots are not typical for the real snowy winter I like them very much and they make me feel elegant in this outfit, because elegance is not only standing out, but being remembered.

So be you, be different, be yourself!

Adding some winter white

It is still winter but I’m looking so much forward to spring that when adding some winter white to my wardrobe I choose not only winter clothes (like a thick sweater and a cap), but also a short skirt and over-knee socks which would be more suited for a warmer season.

But before taking the challenge of wearing white, you should know that winter white is rarely pure white because of the wool material. It’s often closer to ivory or even slightly grayed out white, like ecru. But do you know – it’s worth it – take the challenge to wear white in your winter outfits, that way you will brighten up the gray cold days.
