Playing with colors – purple with orange

One of the “style resolutions” I made for myself for the summer 2022 was to embrace more color in my wardrobe and to be brave about mixing the different hues. I took a chance with this purple + orange combination and was pleasantly surprised by how the shades worked so well together without clashing. It definitely inspired me to make something different.

Violet paired with orange is a combination I’ve not worn very often but I definitely like. The purple hoodie is just an every season perfection – I found this one from Pull & Bear. Matched with this orange Summer Bershka overall, it makes a great combination. I topped the outfit with matching purple-black Pull & Bear socks, a Victoria’s Secret bag and one of my favourite sneakers (Alexander McQueen), in a fashionway.

Get creative with the bright and vibrant colors

The colors that shape the summer of 2022 are from vibrant to tender. But just as there are colors that never go out of style, there are others that are just with us for a season. That’s why you must always pay attention to the newest color trends. This way you will always be at the forefront.

In this outfit I matched 3 vibrant colors – green, pink, and orange. I combined a Zara green T-Shirt with pink-orange shorts, a Stradivarius blazer and topped them with an orange Bershka bag and Jenny Fairy shoes, in a fashionway.

What a way to start April

The spring is just around the corner, but not quite yet and on the 1st of April in Vienna it is like winter. After the long winter I can’t wait to welcome the spring and to put the coats away, but even though the astronomical spring is already here, it’s still cold like a sweater time. Still, I have put away from my wardrobe my thick sweaters and left only couple of jackets, hoping those are the last days of the coat season.

One of my favorite looks at this time of the year is fake leather pants with a simple sweatshirt and a warm coat. For this outfit I chose white cream Zara fake leather leggings with a cool Pull & Bear sweatshirt and topped them with a matching Burberry rain-friendly Jacket, MONKI teddy coat, Bershka boots and a Zara cute bag, all in cream in a fashionway.

Checkerboard print

Since the start of the Corona pandemic in 2020 we have seen so many aspects of our lives change – our day to day life, our ability to see friends and family and how we work. And of course, the lockdowns have changed fashion from how we see it to how we buy it. Me for instance – I started favouring the more comfortable every day clothes and buying many things online thus missing the enjoyment of the the real shopping activity. Somehow life started looking like a black & white photo – lacking variety… Or like chess, where we have to do only certain moves. In that line of thought, the checkerboard print, which is very trendy and almost everywhere now, fits perfectly to that fashion and I like it. I found these checkerboard wide leg relaxed fit jeans and a fluffy Jacket by MONKI and matched them with cream Bershka boots and a small Pimki bag, in a fashionway.

Combat boots season

Combat boots are characterised by their particularly chunky soles and their striking profile. These wind and weatherproof shoes, which are also really comfortable, have their place especially in the transition period and on cold days. Although combat boots were originally designed for the battlefield a long time ago – we no longer go into battle with them, but we can certainly still engage in a fashionable contest.

I am showing you today a comfortable, practical and stylish feel-good outfit. I wear the black boots with trendy Bershka jogging pants and a short Zara black top. In addition a black faux leather Jacket and a small black MONKI bag.

Basically, the rough boots go with any imaginable outfit combinations. As always, it depends on your own taste and wardrobe. I particularly like outfits with joggers, mini skirts, oversized shirts with sweaters. I even like to combine combat boots with dresses because the rough shoes are ideal for style breaks – boots with nice, elegant dresses for example!

Outfit challenge – orange/tangerine pants

When the orange trend came out I thought it’s too bright and bold for me but as I started trying to make some outfits, I came to like it more and more. I usual try to mix it up with neutral colors and duller shades like gray, cream or beige and using the orange as an accent to my outfits.

These Zara orange pants I matched with a white Trussardi jeans shirt and a cream Bershka jacket according to the weather. Then, I accessorize in a fashionway – a cute gray Zara bag and black Jenny Fairy high heels.

Cream-beige color trend goes on

From cream to camel, the 50 shades of beige are a mainstream trend for the fall/winter 2021. This neutral look is refreshingly modern while delightfully alluring and easily wearable.

The key to keeping this look fresh and modern this season is to wear the color palette from head to toe and mix several shades of neutral tones in your outfit. You can also play with textures – leather, cashmere, cotton and faux fur, or combine with oversized pieces. No matter what, the idea is to keep the outfit interesting.

In this outfit I matched basic pieces but managed to make their combo eye-catching in a fashionway – a beige Zara top, a pair of short H&M jogging pants, a nice Zara long-sleeve shirt, a pair of Bershka sneakers and Nike socks.

Green overall

The summer green to autumn gold – the grass is no longer green, but some of my outfits are still in green, as the green is one of the colors you’ll see everywhere in autumn/winter 2021. The mix of elegant and street style trend is my favorite – so, this outfit matches that – the nice Bershka overall with stylish Zara bag and rough white Bershka sneakers with matching Monki socks.

I always prefer wearing brighter and more joyful colors even if the weather is saying otherwise, simply because it cheers me and those around me, up. Not to mention this season there’s an abundance of mood-boosting highlighter brights to sink your teeth into.

Designers such as Versace, Prada, Molly Goddard, Jill Sander, Nina Ricci, Miu Miu, Stand Studio, Ganni and countless more embraced bold hues like green for this autumn/winter.

Walking into Fall

I still don’t want to accept that the summer has already passed and I should walk into the fall. That’s why on every nice day I try to keep the summer feeling and still wear my summer outfits. Actually the simple and sporty ones like this short Bershka T-Shirt und Zara shorts are one of my favorites. I love short pants and joggers, moreover many of them can be matched even with formal tops and jackets – a trend that turned out to be very high this summer/autumn season, which makes me very happy.

And don’t forget – good things are coming down the road no matter the season, just keep walking, in a fashionway.

Green your days

Yes, yes, and yes – we can wear cycling leggings not only for sport. Surprisingly there are many different ways to make them look smart and nice in our outfits. Honestly, I bought sever pairs of them because they really very comfortable and the ultramarine green one are my favorites. Moreover, green is the most fashionable colour for the fall/winter 2021/22 – this trend took over the runways this season and there are many different proposals of dresses, suits, jackets, skirts, legging, pants and accessories in different shades of it.

And a few words for the ultramarine green color – this deep, strong shade of green with a blue undertone is reminiscent of the vivid color of freshly wet leaves. It is also a classy color with a lot of sophistication, but at the same time bold, with a warm and brilliant undertone capable of illuminating even the most serious outfit.

My outfit here consists of a white Bershka short top, ultramarine Zara cycling pants, light pink Bershka bag, Zara summer shoes, Zara big silver neck chain and other Pandora accessories.
