…just have more fun

Basic, but stylish ?. I like basic T-shirts and tops with a small logo very much, with short text or quotes – they are simple and eye-catching at the same time, giving the outfit this cute casual feeling. Moreover very often a simple top is the main centre of attention, no matter how good the shorts, skirt or trousers are.

In my outfit today I chose a lovely short jeans skirt painted with palms, but I think the main piece is really 100% the batik „pink power“ Zara shirt, which I trendy knotted for fun. So, basic is more than basic , if chosen in fashionway. Do you also already have your basics for the hot summer days? And remember – have fun when making your outfits – it will also affect your looks.

Saying „No, thank you“ to negative energy

Considering the situation in the world now and the outlook for the coming months, I want to say „No, thank you“ to all the negative energy and thoughts – this is my favorite slogan for the moment – do you have one of your own? Because when we are healthy that is enough to think positive and look optimistically towards the future. I know we hear this all the time, but that is indeed the essence of things.

In that context my outfit today is also a kind of a „No, thank you“ message to all the things that are negative. It is with one of my official coronavirus pieces – a cool hoodie – for the times when someone tries to come closer and shake my hand for example – no thank you!

And as it happens pretty often lately I am in pink again, matched with black – two favourite colors. A pink Zara sweatshirt, a black Pimkie skirt, Calzedonia tights and socks, Michael Kors sneakers and a Victoria‘s Secret bag.

The secret of the success is that you never give up

Easter – one the most sacred holidays is approaching fast and while we all stay at home, I would like to share with you that there is no better feeling in the world than the one from the love of your closest – the family. With the risk of sounding trivial, I can safely say that the greatest treasure I have is my family. Every step forward, each success of mine, everything I achieved would be hardly possible without the support they give me, without their love and mine for them. We went through some fantastic times together, we have also had our fair share of hard times, but we went through it all together, because the love in our family flows strong and deep.

I wish everyone happy easter holidays, lots of love and never give up.

As for the outfit today – it is an all-black one, with some silver details that I like so much. The holed black tunic with the print text „The secret of the success is that you never give up“ is covering a silver body. The accents here are the accessories in two combinations: on some of the photos with the Giuliano Gudman sneakers with a hot pink bag, and on the others with black velvet heels matching a black bag with the same silver details as on the tunic and the leggings.

Pretty with pink

Pink – right now a color with all sorts of trendy connotations. Pale pink, normal pink , girly pink, piggie pink, neon pink, millennial pink – for some time now almost all I see is pink. Millennial pink, to be more precise. It has come to a point where I’m starting to somehow like it. Maybe I’ve become infected?

As I have found out, millennial pink is the color of millennials. Come to think of it, I would say that the clues were there all along. Pink as a little girl, pink in my teens and now – pink everywhere around me and especially on Instagram – nevertheless I never got tired of it and love it all the same.

Contrary to the piggy and girly pink of the recent ears, the millennial pink is a pastel tone with a touch of peach and a slight salmon shade.

The pink, being millennial or other type, I like wearing in any combination, but never being dressed fully in pink like a big pink candy. I like combining this sweet color with some other colors – for instance with white like here and accented accessories. I choose the jeans ones, namely jeans over-knee boots and a jeans bag.

As you already know, I love animals and for this shoot a dog of a friend of mine posed together with me – of course also dressed in a trendy millennial pink jacket. We looked so well together that people who saw us came to us asking for which media we are making the shoot, so I even had to sign some cards :).

A cup of good vibes

No matter which day of the week it is, for me it starts with the little things that make me happy – it makes a big difference for my overall mood throughout the day. Even a little cup of coffee or a good song could make my soul smiling. And it’s really important in our hectic life to have a few things we could do, that make us feel better, be more positive about ourselves and just life in general ?

It could be reading a book, meditate, go to a café and order your favourite coffee, watch a movie, draw a painting, listen to good music, write, etc.

As for me one of my little delights is having a little cup of good coffee (or tea) while making plans for the day, of course in fashion way. Such is today’s morning while sharing this with you – with a cup of coffee in my hand, good vibes in my head. All that with some the yellow tones, to match the rising sun ?

Love Carinthia

Carinthia (in german „Kärnten“) is one of my favourite parts of Austria, no matter the season, each has its own beauty.

Every time we come around with my family, we visit the Maltatal waterfall – it’s a 220 meter tall drop, in such being the tallest one in all of Carinthia. It is situated in the Malta valley and around 10km from the city of Gmund, which by itself is another place I am always eager to visit.

In Gmund one can find the Porsche museum, but my pictures today are from an oldsmobile garage just outside of town, where I noticed this old rusty Mercedes in front. The view of it brought me back to my youth years, when my grandfather had one just like that, and it was the first and only one in our town at the time. It threw me really deep back in my memories – time flies by so fast…

My outfit today is once more casual and fit for the windy weather – all black and white – a black super comfortable Michael Kors hoodie and sock boots, faux fur Calzedonia leggings, a Pull & Bear belly bag, New Yorker coat, an „Igers“ hat from ALCOTT that i love very much and warm Paco Rabanne gloves.

Lake Millstatt – where mountain and lake dreams come true

Lake Millstatt – a place that I have visited so many times and a place where I can switch off and just chill. It is a dream location where the snowy Alps meets the calm deep waters of the lake – a sight to marvel both in summer and in winter.

Coincidently being the first place to visit in this new year, I take it’s beauty as a way to charge myself for all the things I plan to achieve in the next months.

To match the surrounding Alps, my outfit today is in a light mountain style – a winter ALCOTT sweater with mountain details, a matching jacket, Calzedonia leggings, lovely red winter ALCOTT socks, Tanca booties and bag and trendy black sunglasses.

From Wikipedia

It is situated at 588 metres above the Adriatic (1,929 ft), north of the Drava Valley within the Gurktal Alps (Nock Mountains) range of the Central Eastern Alps, near the town of Spittal an der Drau. With a surface area of 13.3 km2 (5.1 sq mi) Lake Millstatt is the second largest lake of Carinthia (after Lake Wörth), though with a depth of 142 m (466 ft) the most voluminous by far.

Its steep shore gives the lake a fjord-like character. The Millstätter Alpe mountains in the north up to 2,100 m (6,900 ft) protect it from cold winds, so the water temperature can reach 25 °C (77 °F) in summer. The narrow and long surface stretches over 12 km (7.5 mi) from east to west. In the south the wooded Hochgosch plateau, with a breadth of 2 km (1.2 mi) and an elevation of 876 m (2,874 ft), divides the lake from the parallel Drava Valley.

The name derives from the market town Millstatt on the northern shore. Other municipalities near the lake are Seeboden and Radenthein-Döbriach. The shaded southern shore, a protected area since 1970, is almost uninhabited.

Is it possible to look stylish with cycling pants?

Why cycling shorts are a hit lately? How could you wear them? Are they only for sport? I try to answer theese questions in this post.

First of all – they are very comfortable – dividing the lycra-clad and the lycra-averse these pants are a triumph of practicality over style and meanwhile chick, cool and are enchancing the shape of the leg. Secondly, they are not just for sport – you can make different outfits even combined with a formal blazer.

A famous example of a celebrity who liked to wear them is Princess Diana – already 30 years ago she started the trend that is reappearing today. Also promis like Hailey Baldwin, Kim Kardashian, and Bella Hadid started often sporting them and photos in that style are all over the fashion blogs.

Don’t be afraid to match stretching, tight-fitting cycling pants with blousons, hoodies, jumpers, sweatshirts, etc, so you can feel comfortable not only in a casual, but also in an elegant way.

Here I matched one of my favorite black pants with a pale pink Chanel blazer. Surely the nice shoes and the bag will only make the outfit nicer, of course in a fashion way.

A classy fabulous orchid dress

We are always on the go, and often it’s hard to keep up with the latest looks and trends. But a fairy, thin, floral dress is an option just waiting to jump into your closet. This Kiara Fashion dress is the look that will take you from blah to bold, to classy and fabulous.
With such a dress you can find the right way to rock your personal style with class. I’m not a fan of glaring outfits, but this one in particular hits the sweet spot between being too chic and simple. I always liked Orchids and this dress warmed my heart, in a fashion way

Believe in yourself

No matter what happens in the outside world, as long as you have faith in yourself, no darkness can touch you!” – Mehmet Murat ildan

Today I decided to share with you something that’s not just a fashion article but one that is more personal about me.

Some years ago, there was a time when the lack of belief in myself was a big factor in my life. I was not pursuing anything that I wanted to, because I didn’t think I could. Sometimes it can be hard to believe in yourself, especially if you feel like you have something to offer but don’t know how to present it and are reluctant to do it because you’re afraid what people will tell you.

But as the time goes by I have learned that it’s completely fine to try, even if I fail, and to put myself out there and be imperfect, because everyone is worthy and capable to do something they believe in.

I try to set goals for myself and meet those goals. Once I make a goal, I work hard to achieve it. My education and previous work history were very different, but inside my dreams have always been drawing me to fashion.

Staying positive and learning from my failures made me think in the right direction. So, if you did something wrong, embrace it, because you’ll have an easier time to know what is right from wrong.

Today’s post is a challenge for me, too – before I never believed enough in myself and my figure to make a photoshoot in underwear (here in one of my favorite brands “Intimissimi”) – but as you can see I did, because I managed to overcome those concerns in a fashionway.

So, just believe in yourself and follow your dreams! ?

Encourage yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself. Never doubt who you are” – Stephanie Lahart
