April mood with an oversized long shirt

Although the spring has come, April feels like November. Still, I am happy, because it is the summer that is coming and not the winter.

In this transition period, when it is neither warm nor cold, thick coats do not fit and without outerwear it is not possible to go out. In these conditions the long oversized shirt is the ideal solution for many outfits. I found this cool checkered one by SHEIN and matched it with a white REPLAY sweatshirt and a short fake leather Zara skirt. I topped this combination with a pair of black combat Zara shoes, a Zara bag, fingerless gloves and a cool matching Carhartt knit hat in a fashionway.

An easy way to look good wearing a long sleeves sweatshirt top and short Joggers

On those smooth days like Sundays you need just a casual look and don’t care mood. So, it might be safe to say joggers are my new favourite pants, not only long ones for the winter but also short ones for the summer. I’ve always been a denim girl, but recently joggers are winning me over. As soon as I laid eyes on these PULL&BEAR joggers and the sweatshirt top in a candy mint color, I knew I need them for this spring/summer season. I love the effortlessness and versatility this outfit has. Some joggers have a tendency to be more relaxed like for home, but these ones are more tight and that’s why they are just my style. (By the way the pants and sweatshirt carry the name „smooth(ie) days“).

I topped the whole outfit with a sweet Bershka bag also in a matching candy color, once more my favourite Alexander McQueen sneakers and a pair of white Nike socks, in a fashionway.

The mood in the city is slowly coming back

After staying home for such a long time, taking a late afternoon walk in the centre of Vienna, which is still unusually empty, feels great. I really miss the old way of life before this crisis, the streets, coffee shops and shops, full of people, but there is also beauty and delight in the calm and quiet – one can see things that previously did not stand out. Even though the city is in sort of a stand still, the spring gives it hope. And the summer is just around the corner and I already can’t wait to get my new outfits for the next season ready.

My outfit today – freestyle, comfortable and careless – an ALCOTT white sweatshirt, a pair of Patrizia Peppe skinny jeans and FILA Sneakers.

Orange mood

I have always thought of orange as one of the colors of the fall season, but now it became trendy for this spring – it’s one of the colors that may make it’s way into your wardrobes in 2020.

And as we all want to light up after the long winter and I think a sleevless jacket with a matching sweatshirt does the job great. As orange is a color that everyone will notice, and even if it takes only a part of the outfit or an accessory, it has the desired effect. Of course a full orange dress or suit would work great, too.

I combined my orange pieces with black skinny jeans and white Skechers sneakers. To extend the palette i took my Jack Wolfskin brown backpack, in a fashionway.

Of course, taking in mind the current quarantine, the photos were taken on the street in front of my home, and I strongly appeal to everyone to stay at home!
