Golden autumn

Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons (Jim Bishop). Yes, it’s true – the autumn has many lovely colors in the gold palette and inspires us with its beauty.

How do you assemble your autumn outfits? It’s the season when one minute we’re too hot, and the next it’s not. So, what’s a woman to do? We should be clever with our ideas – try to nail the „in between seasons“ sweet spot when matching our outfits. We could on one side keep the passing warm weather feeling, for instance with a pair of shorts, while at the same time stepping into the winter season by choosing a warmer sweater and a fluffy jacket. I chose some autumn colors – burgundy/rosewood for the sweater, golden yellow for the shirt and jacket, black faux fur shorts and black accessories, matched in a fashionway.

Autumn weather, autumn mood

Autumn – this feeling when the sun took a step back, the leaves covered the ground and the trees show us how lovely it can be to let things go.

For me personally autumn is a little bit of a sad season, moreover now that we are at home in a lockdown (again). But I see it as a necessary transition period leading to the festive December.

But no matter how sad and cold the weather outside is, the nature colors revive – yellow, orange, saturated green, dark violet and red, brown, etc. And the autumn trends always follow those colors and so do I. I like violet, burgundy and all combinations in this palette.

My outfit today is a cosy, casual one – a „fashion“ shirt with jeans, a sleeveless red jacket and matching sneakers.

Jeans forever

No matter time of the year or the year itself, jeans are always in season.

I have vivid memories of my childhood how different the jeans were – classic or special, stonewashed, high-waisted with a button-fly, bride or loose tapered legs. And as the fashion tends to come back after some years, now we have the high waisted jeans back, just like in the old times.

I found those 80‘s skinny, slim fit, high waisted jeans in horizon blue by Zara and almost felt the fashion from the times of my mother. There is one small difference though – in the past, when my grandma saw a cut or a hole in my jeans, first thing she said was it needs to be patched – now those are made intentional and fashionable.

I matched them with my favourite black – a black stretched Zara body, a black Michael Kors blazer, black boots and as a final touch a cute brown bag from MONKI with a brown Gucci belt. All in all a casual outfit, matched in a fashionway.
