Saying „No, thank you“ to negative energy

Considering the situation in the world now and the outlook for the coming months, I want to say „No, thank you“ to all the negative energy and thoughts – this is my favorite slogan for the moment – do you have one of your own? Because when we are healthy that is enough to think positive and look optimistically towards the future. I know we hear this all the time, but that is indeed the essence of things.

In that context my outfit today is also a kind of a „No, thank you“ message to all the things that are negative. It is with one of my official coronavirus pieces – a cool hoodie – for the times when someone tries to come closer and shake my hand for example – no thank you!

And as it happens pretty often lately I am in pink again, matched with black – two favourite colors. A pink Zara sweatshirt, a black Pimkie skirt, Calzedonia tights and socks, Michael Kors sneakers and a Victoria‘s Secret bag.

Stay healthy and stay at home

While I am trying to follow the strict quarantine rules here in Vienna and hoping that better days will come soon, I am sending you some positive vibes and a hole lot of love, from my house to yours. I think that now during this difficult period with the Coronavirus it is very important to stay positive and healthy, and while at it why not take care of our bodies and soul.

But we should also do something, that our future self will thank us for, not just staying at home and thinking how miserable the situation is. Being in quarantine is not an excuse not to take care of our looks, to eat unhealthy and not to exercise. Looking good should not be reserved for just going out and meeting others, it can also show self-respect and respect for our loved ones at home. And there is plenty of yummy food that is healthy and lots of fun exercises one can do at home. Even doing the house work and running up and down the floors in the house 100 of times a day is an exercise by itself. I took the time to finish some stuff at home, and I did my 100’s easily the last days ??.

As you can see I try to keep my time full as much as possible. You can do it, too – take the time for yourself – do the things you always wished you had the time for, learn something, even pick a new hobby if you wish. This is is a difficult time for everyone but we have been blessed with the gift of time. So let’s use it properly!

How I stay positive and calm

People ask me all the time – how do you manage to stay so positive and calm? I am usually not writing about such topics, but having in mind the whole situation with the Covid-19 virus now, I decided to lay down some words on this question.

We often look at the world and consider it as negative. That’s not surprising, because just taking a glance at the news media could make the steadiest person depressed. Or looking around and realising how often people say dumb things about each other, how some show their jealousy and hate – it happens everyday and everywhere. But calling the whole world negative would be a misjudgment. It will only cause frustration which makes you even more angry and unhappy.

If you blame others for your negative feelings, nobody would hear or know about it – it would be only you who suffers. But if you try to blame yourself for your own negative feelings, you are making a step ahead ot at least make progress. But to really stay positive stopping blaming is the wisest thing to do.

Some of the other things that make me positive are. First – I don’t take everything personally – we very often analyse every single word people say or things they do, but all that is not always personal. Second – I let my feelings out and say what I think. Our Life is basically one challenge after the other and very often we keep our feelings “in a safe place” – inside ourselves. I try to not keep inside feelings like anger, frustration and anxiety on one side and joy, happiness, loveliness, etc. on the other. Third – I learned to be grateful about everything, good or bad, because even from the bad you can learn good lessons. And last but not least – if you want to be positive don’t stay on the same spot for too long and constantly work on yourself and follow your dreams, because if you do, you know that you have a chance to improve your life. And to me, that’s the best use of my time and energy. Also never forget to give your love even to people that don’t like you.

At the end I want to share this great quote: “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”/Napoleon Hill/ – doing small things in the right direction, will for sure make you feel better.

Just a few words about the outfit that goes with this post – a sweater in one of the 2020 colors – blue, combined with white and black, matched with one of my favorite Calzedonia faux fur leggings, Michael Kors booties, trendy black sunglasses and a Diana&Co Firenze Italian bag
