Jogging pants trend

Although originally known as jogging pants when introduced by Adidas, nowadays they find their use in nearly all areas of styling – they even get some front rows in the fashion weeks. If casually styled for the every-day use, or nicely combined in an elegant business outfit – they seem to fit everywhere.

If you still wonder where did the joggers trend come from, must have missed the whole „athleisure“ movement that has been all over the place lately. „Athleisure“ obviously is a combination of „athletic“ and „leisure“, which leads to the style working well both for the free time, as well as for the office.

To achieve a modern look, a statement piece like the jogging pant should be combined with classic items like coats, shirts and even high heels. As it seems, nowadays the sport outfits have become popular also outside of the fitness studios and the open air tracks.

My outfit today, shot in my „still-work-in-progress“ blogger room, consists of tender mint Pimkie jogging pants, a casual Alcott white hoodie with a classic Zara elegant pink shirt underneath. The final touch are my nike sneakers, all combined in a fashionway.

Jeans forever

No matter time of the year or the year itself, jeans are always in season.

I have vivid memories of my childhood how different the jeans were – classic or special, stonewashed, high-waisted with a button-fly, bride or loose tapered legs. And as the fashion tends to come back after some years, now we have the high waisted jeans back, just like in the old times.

I found those 80‘s skinny, slim fit, high waisted jeans in horizon blue by Zara and almost felt the fashion from the times of my mother. There is one small difference though – in the past, when my grandma saw a cut or a hole in my jeans, first thing she said was it needs to be patched – now those are made intentional and fashionable.

I matched them with my favourite black – a black stretched Zara body, a black Michael Kors blazer, black boots and as a final touch a cute brown bag from MONKI with a brown Gucci belt. All in all a casual outfit, matched in a fashionway.

Are pastels the new neutral colors?

Pastels are pale colors that are tender and do not stand out too much, but still bring colors to an outfit while acting neutral. Being so baby sweet and delicately tender, I would wear them all the time.

I find the pale pink and pastel petrol to be a great combination. I matched a pale pink blazer with a short lace pastel petrol top and short denim cycling shorts. Finished the whole look with a black Furla bag and pink-black block heels, in a fashionway.

Bikinis, one-piece or something else

I always wondered which swimsuit suits me better – bikinis or a whole swimsuit. Truth be told, I never fancied being long ours in the sun, neither am I an avid swimmer – so, I have always wanted something in-between. This summer I found these fancy swim-ready top and swimming panties, who are both comfortable and looking great at the pool.

Moreover, the black and white combination has always been one of my favourites – it works great with different outfits, but it does so also for swimsuits, in a fashionway. I can’t forget to mention the black sunglasses with their trendy form, that I like very much. I hope you like it!

Light and easy

There are certain pieces that I would happily wear the whole summer, just like my jumpsuit today. It’s light, comfortable and I do not need to think how to combine it. In addition the colors are very neutral, nature-like and still, I can both wear it for a walk in the park, as well as a casual outfit for the streets. And for the hot summer days for me it is important not only to have fashionable but also practical clothes.

I combined it with one of my favourite Fracomina jeans bag and Stradivarius block heels with transparent straps. Of course, the sunglasses are always a welcome addition in the summer days.

So, it’s really good to have some airy, easygoing and casual pieces in our wardrobes wich we can wear in an easy fashionway.

Super cute colors for a cute look

You can always have a full game with each of these sweet currently trendy colors – yellow, pink, blue, mint. They look beautiful together as much as they look beautiful by themselves. I chose accessories in these candy colors in order to wear them with different outfits all summer long – yellow-pink-blue block heels, a sweet pink bag and fashy hat in white-pink-blue. Today I matched my cute accessories with a little white dress in a fashionway and I am eager to match them with other outfits further. Have you already chosen your favourite sweet cute colors for the summer?

Love a pop of color

I love wearing yellow in the summer, no matter if it’s on trend or not, because yellow and the sunshine are worth abounding. Yellow like: yellow sun, yellow summer, yellow sunflowers, yellow submarine, yellow summer time, yellow summer sunset…

I found this comfy velour set at Zara, then hopped into some matching heels and grabbed my lovely small Love Moschino bag. This is one of those sets which every woman should have in her wardrobe – just pull it out and you are ready to go. I love such outfits where you do not need to think how to combine them – a top plus shorts or skirt and voila – you are all set for an impromptu meet-up.

Shades of turquoise

Turquoise is one of my absolute favorite colors for this summer. It is elegant, cute and meanwhile a fresh color. So, as it is Saturday and I am in a weekend mood, I feel like I just want to look in another way. My top today reminds me of the magical sea waves, my sneakers of the mint ice cream and I’m not complaining 🙂 – just totally in a summer vibe. And don’t you think that basics are adorable – a simple top, Jeans shorts and sneakers – what else. Less is more!

White is timeless!

Honestly I do not wear white very often, but lately I came to love it. First because you can never go wrong with this classic color, because it’s timeless. Then, it is a way to cool off in the hot sunny weather. And last, but not least, it can go with any other color in my wardrobe. Moreover it’s simple and beautiful – it gives the outfit that simplicity and purity in a beautiful way.

So, it’s a bright, hot and sunny day in Vienna today – the perfect weather to wear white – I chose a transparent Zara lace top with a long skirt and white Emporio Armani heels. It makes me feel confident, powerful and happy, knowing that white is an amalgamation of all colors.

Well, but I tried making this a different look by wearing a jeans jacket with a sweet flamingo, I hope you like it!

Lovely spring/summer palette

I am so happy that this spring/summer season many of my favourite colors are in trend – mainly in the pastel tones. Just like those mystical creatures – the seahorses – they are sweet and tender and spread calmness and patience.

The pale color palette that is trendy now also carries sort of a sweet/mystic feeling to it, just as mystic and unique of a creature the seahorses are. I am looking forward to make many more outfits with those tones, for example blossom, biscay green, coral pink, sunlight, tanager turquoise, lark, denim blue etc., in a fashion way.
