Dubai fashion – a fairy tale

I have already posted a lot about the Dubai Fashion Week and I think that it is time to stop now – not because there is nothing more to tell, but because everything is like a big fairy tale, that just cannot be put into just a few posts. The whole event is one big adventure, that can only be fully experienced when you are actually there, even though the covid-19 situation is making it very different.

Meeting new people, making new contacts and acquaintances, sharing the emotions and feelings of the attending designers and their shows – all that is just magical. Especially with most of the dresses being as if made for princesses – somehow in line with the local culture and style. Dubai itself is also magical and adds to the whole experience, being very different to Europe.

On the third evening of the IFWD I wore this pretty wine-red dress – one more piece from my collection – again very simple, but still eye-catching.

Fashion weeks

Every fashion week around the world that I attended was an event that gave me a great deal of energy. With all the fashion weeks I was at, this one in Dubai was something different and unique. Because it’s not only about the fashion – It’s an amazing feeling to meet different people with the same interests, to get to know the different culture and customs and feel the overwhelming fashion mood. It’s really a great feeling to share the experience of a collection made with love being presented. Some of the collections I was mostly excited about were: Katrini, 1ONE, Bodo , Sposa, Two Kids, Stada boutique and Waletty.

As for the outfit today – I am wearing one of my fashionway dresses – one that is perfect for the summer and the sea coast.

International Fashion Week Dubai – Season 11

My post today is an unusual one, as it is not only about an outfit, but more about a big event that I had the honour to be invited to by the organiser herself – Cheryle Dias (our photo together you can see below) – namely the International Fashion Week Dubai, season 11. This top fashion event took place at the Sofitel hotel in the Dubai The Palm, which is one of my favourite areas in Dubai. Top designers and international models were taking part. Among the guests were local royal families, famous models, fashionistas and designers.

On the first evening I wore and presented a piece from my fashionway collection – a plain but eye-catching red dress. In the following posts I will show you some more of my fashionway dresses, so stay tuned!

Special thanks go to Mr. Shehenshah Zaidi for his his help and connections in Dubai.

The first summer fashion weekend, St. Vlas

My summer days in Bulgaria were full of pleasant events and I want to share some of them with you in my blog.

I will start with „The first summer fashion weekend“, St. Vlas, Marina Dinevi Yacht Port. Famous desigers were presented there with brands not only from Bulgaria, but also from abroad. Just to name some: Esil Duran, Sena Design, Karamdaya, Viktoria K with designer Viktoria Krasteva, Miravision, Sherri Hill (she is an American fashion designer and business lady, specialized on evening attire), Wolm, Amarine, Faith in Fatih, Princess by Sonya and Silvana, Marvin Nonis.

The fashion shows were amazing, the presentation great and full of emotions – I am sharing here some shots from the event so you can catch a glipse of it all.

Dreaming of an endless summer

Autumn is just around the corner but I’ve always dreamed of an endless summer. That’s why I would like to hold on to summer a bit longer in my blog with this post.

I love the fall and it’s colors but I’m not quite ready to put on my boots and coat and think about the cold days. That’s why I also wore with pleasure on the Vienna Fashion Week my favorite summer floral dress, imagining in my mind the sea and feeling the summer breeze.

The floral style, which was so trendy this summer, is still very much in also for the autumn dresses and many stores begin to stock their fall wears also with floral patterns. So, do not forget the summer feeling and keep wearing colorful clothes with flowers also in the fall season, of course always in a Fashionway!

A-LINE fashion brand on Vienna Fashion Week 2018

EDIT 08.10.2018: Because of some misunderstandings that were pointed out to me recently, I want to make clear that i AM NOT the designer of the A-LINE collection – i only helped with the organisation.

It was an awesome experience to participate in the making of the first collection of A-LINE (http://www.a-line.at/), to present it on the Vienna Fashion week 2018 and to be both part of the backstage and to catwalk myself as a model.

A-LINE is a luxury brand that was presented on the Vienna Fashion Week with its Art Luxury- Line Collection „CORONA ARTISTICA“. The focus is on the woman of today, that can be anything, as long as it’s not boring. A ready-to-wear collection for the modern lady who wants to feel like Alice in wonderland, because a woman can be a dreamer while remaining practical. The outfits are inspired by artists like Klimt, Hundertwasser, Gaudí, as well as mother nature herself in all her colors, lines and forms. The result is feminine, fairytale, multifunctional unique pieces full of passion and momentum. (quote from http://www.a-line.at/, translated into English)
