Pretty with pink

Pink – right now a color with all sorts of trendy connotations. Pale pink, normal pink , girly pink, piggie pink, neon pink, millennial pink – for some time now almost all I see is pink. Millennial pink, to be more precise. It has come to a point where I’m starting to somehow like it. Maybe I’ve become infected?

As I have found out, millennial pink is the color of millennials. Come to think of it, I would say that the clues were there all along. Pink as a little girl, pink in my teens and now – pink everywhere around me and especially on Instagram – nevertheless I never got tired of it and love it all the same.

Contrary to the piggy and girly pink of the recent ears, the millennial pink is a pastel tone with a touch of peach and a slight salmon shade.

The pink, being millennial or other type, I like wearing in any combination, but never being dressed fully in pink like a big pink candy. I like combining this sweet color with some other colors – for instance with white like here and accented accessories. I choose the jeans ones, namely jeans over-knee boots and a jeans bag.

As you already know, I love animals and for this shoot a dog of a friend of mine posed together with me – of course also dressed in a trendy millennial pink jacket. We looked so well together that people who saw us came to us asking for which media we are making the shoot, so I even had to sign some cards :).

A casual comfortable look with a long faux fur coat

Hi everyone, happy Saturday! I’m back to you with a new outfit as always. This full look I matched based on this marvellous, comfortable and suiting the early spring season, long faux fur coat – it really is one of my besties that I wear day-to-day here in Vienna at the moment.

It’s still freezing here in the city, so it’s all about the layers… and of course, coats that feel like blankets! I can’t tell how much I love this embellished faux fur. Isn’t it stunning? Such amazing quality and a very striking piece to have in your wardrobe. I paired it with several of my usuals – one of my black Tunics, long over-knee socks, white boots and a white bag. Oh, and lest not forget my comfortable gloves without fingers. It took me a while to try out this outfit but I have to say I love it.

A cup of good vibes

No matter which day of the week it is, for me it starts with the little things that make me happy – it makes a big difference for my overall mood throughout the day. Even a little cup of coffee or a good song could make my soul smiling. And it’s really important in our hectic life to have a few things we could do, that make us feel better, be more positive about ourselves and just life in general ?

It could be reading a book, meditate, go to a café and order your favourite coffee, watch a movie, draw a painting, listen to good music, write, etc.

As for me one of my little delights is having a little cup of good coffee (or tea) while making plans for the day, of course in fashion way. Such is today’s morning while sharing this with you – with a cup of coffee in my hand, good vibes in my head. All that with some the yellow tones, to match the rising sun ?

Early spring

Early spring is my favorite season for fashion, so when I finally have the possibility to put less layers on, I happily take some off and match my outfits accordingly. Today’s look of mine is based on the over-knees – from ponchos and capes to trenches and short coats, over-the-knee boots make a statement and always flawlessly complete my look.

Thera are many different ways to wear your long boots but I think in this season nothing beats a good sweater dress with a pretty short skirt to complement the over-the-knee boots. Instead of freezing your bare legs in the not-yet-so-warm weather and pretending you are not, or wondering which tights to put on, these are actually really warm and look always trendy.

I have put together my LV over-the-knees with a brown sugar velvet skirt, a black Zara sweater shirt, a cutie faux fur short coat and a LV bag. I wear these during the whole fall, winter and early spring, because they go with any outfit you can think of: jeans and a coat, a sweater dress and a jacket or a short skirt and a blazer. These over-the-knee boots have never met an outfit they can’t elevate in a fashion way.

Sweater with dogtooth, short skirt and over-the-knee boots

I’m always up for the challenge of throwing together a good black and white outfit, only this time matched with bits of silver grey. When I saw this dogtooth chunky sweater, I got inspired to bring you a casual street look that works great for this season.

When it comes to sweaters, I gravitate towards purchasing a variety of styles ranging from high to low. This means I try to invest in at least a few new good sweaters each winter, that will carry me from season to season. And then I go for a handful of on-trend statement sweaters that I can style with more basic pieces to stay relevant, playful and edgy.

This trendy sweater allowed me to do just that — pairing with the short casual black skirt that I’ve had for years, one of my over-the-knee boots from Zara and one of my most favorite black fur bag that matches the fur of my grey-silver jacket . Mixed together you get a nice outfit that not only makes a statement but aligns with a modern chic monochromatic styling scheme, in a fashionway.

Oversized bomber jacket in winter

Thick and well oversized, a bomber jacket is a great choice for the cold winter days. My Zara model in gold and green combines the winter and street styles at the same time. Although the gold and green might already be too shiny, I decided to add even more by choosing some green-gold glittering Calzedonia leggings, but softened them with a black oversized Tezenis sweater and black sock boots that also match with their shining block heels.

This eye-catching shiny outfit fascinates me to wear it, even though I am not really a fan of the combination of green and gold colors. I usually tend to combine green in my other casual outfits with black and beige and always try to add an elegant accent in a shiny color – for example red or orange. Because of that in today’s outfit I decided for gold.

What should you combine a bomber jacket with?

A basic outfit with such a jacket can be a combination with jeans, leggings, stylish pullover or a hoodie and low boots or sneakers. For the bolder, they could add some yellow or even blue, because everything out of the ordinary or out of the etiquette is appreciated more. As for those of you who prefer to stay more decent, you can combine it with grey, beige or black.

Me personally, I tend to prefer the decent colors more, but once in a while I like mixing outstanding outfits, of course in a fashionway.

Chocolate love?

Give me some chocolate and the world feels sweet again – it is one of the best sins on this earth. People who know me will tell you that I do not like chocolate that much, but in the rare occasions when I eat it I know how to enjoy it fully.

I do try to eat healthy, but honestly some chocolate from time to time would not hurt, especially if it’s of exceptional Belgian quality – like the one from the Chocolatier Neuhaus. I also like it when it takes the form of small gestures, like a gift for example, as such that can touch anyone’s heart.

I love to love, I love chocolate, but my biggest love stays with fashion. In line with that I have to mention the accessories I’m wearing today – a MONKI chocolate-colored teddy cat bag combined with a pair of cutie cat Colloseum socks, sweet pink candy Colloseum shoes, velvet bordeaux leggings matched with a softy sweater and a white tender Colloseum teddy coat, in a fashionway.

Classy and cool day time look in black and brown

Isn’t it crazy how you can transform a casual T-shirt and jeans look to casual chic almost instantaneously as soon as you throw on a faux fur and a teddy coat? There is something about the black and brown tones and faux fur that gives an elegant, romantic and feminine feel. I feel absolutely darling in that faux leather pants and teddy coat combined with the black flat casual booties.

Fashion trends come and go, but one that retains its timeless style is the fake fur. Such a jacket is a statement outwear any fashionista should have when the temperatures start to drop. And also a good faux puff-piece could not only keep you nice and snug, but it could also single handedly glam up any ensemble.

From teddy to oversized jackets, to vibrant colors and funky chic patterns / prints – this is one cold-weather piece your wardrobe needs.

I have already rounded up some of my favourite stylish fake fur outfits and inspirations to help you rock this furry trend, in a fashionway – a dark brown teddy coat, a beige sweater, black Pimkie faux fur leather backpipe pants, a Gucci scarf, a black Pinko bag and a pair of cool flat booties.

The child is still in me

Have you ever had the feeling that the child in you keeps living, because with me it’s a fact – for example I get excited about each new character Disney makes a movie with. I adore Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Sleeping beauty, Cinderella, Tangled, Moana, Elsa and more or less all princesses… So I will be sure to go and see the Frozen 2 movie soon.

There was something magical about Elsa singing „Let it go“ in the first part and I am 100% here for whatever hopefully-not-terrible sequel Disney wants me to see.

And what about the trailer – it tells us… eh. Nothing. It’s autumn in this movie! The same old characters will be in it! Elsa will get trapped on an island? Sven has to leave his natural habitat? Anna needs to fight with a sword? There’s not much plot to work with here. There’s not even any spoken lines of dialogue. Queen Elsa still has her ice skills.

Six years ago Disney rolled out the first part, and since then Frozen is all around us. For the first time we had a Disney movie that was not all about Princesses finding their dream Princes – it was a story about the relations between two very different sisters – Anna and Elsa. So I am very curious to see what will follow now…

I am feeling cute between the two princesses – with my soft white coat, rust colour skirt, matching Levi’s skirt and white Skechers sneakers.

Lake Millstatt – where mountain and lake dreams come true

Lake Millstatt – a place that I have visited so many times and a place where I can switch off and just chill. It is a dream location where the snowy Alps meets the calm deep waters of the lake – a sight to marvel both in summer and in winter.

Coincidently being the first place to visit in this new year, I take it’s beauty as a way to charge myself for all the things I plan to achieve in the next months.

To match the surrounding Alps, my outfit today is in a light mountain style – a winter ALCOTT sweater with mountain details, a matching jacket, Calzedonia leggings, lovely red winter ALCOTT socks, Tanca booties and bag and trendy black sunglasses.

From Wikipedia

It is situated at 588 metres above the Adriatic (1,929 ft), north of the Drava Valley within the Gurktal Alps (Nock Mountains) range of the Central Eastern Alps, near the town of Spittal an der Drau. With a surface area of 13.3 km2 (5.1 sq mi) Lake Millstatt is the second largest lake of Carinthia (after Lake Wörth), though with a depth of 142 m (466 ft) the most voluminous by far.

Its steep shore gives the lake a fjord-like character. The Millstätter Alpe mountains in the north up to 2,100 m (6,900 ft) protect it from cold winds, so the water temperature can reach 25 °C (77 °F) in summer. The narrow and long surface stretches over 12 km (7.5 mi) from east to west. In the south the wooded Hochgosch plateau, with a breadth of 2 km (1.2 mi) and an elevation of 876 m (2,874 ft), divides the lake from the parallel Drava Valley.

The name derives from the market town Millstatt on the northern shore. Other municipalities near the lake are Seeboden and Radenthein-Döbriach. The shaded southern shore, a protected area since 1970, is almost uninhabited.
