A powerful color

Today I am obsessed with another autumn color – maroon, also known as “deep burgundy”. Coming from the Burgundy Region in France and having a great history behind it, this color presents a reputable, sophisticated and powerful outlook. It goes perfect with dark ones like black, but can at the same time be attractive when combined with beige, brown or grey.

Here I matched it with dark grey jeans, a special hint of light pink shoes and bag for a simple way to elevate my look in an attractive fashionway.

Red cape, red passion, red love heart, because love is the answer

Well, let me ask you this – what do you think when you think of a red cape? For most of us, we relate it either to power, strength, freedom, even flying like a hero (think Superman) or with tender feelings and love like the Little Red Riding Hood for example. For me the red cape is everything mentioned above and I sling it across my shoulders with pride because there is nothing bolder in autumn weather than a red cape. It changes my entire demeanor and outlook and I wear it with love. Yes, definitely with love – and I do not mention that just as the next strong word – one has to feel it that way – be it regarding the fashion, one’s clothes, everyday life or toward a person, as love is the answer to everything. Feeling the love you can fly no matter if it is with a “magic” red cape or without one.

Swinging this great color around my body always makes heads turn. Red goes with nearly everything and I like it a lot – especially with jeans. But because I’m still not in the winter mood here I wear it with short jeans and one of my favorite high heels, of course in a fashionway.

A-LINE fashion brand on Vienna Fashion Week 2018

EDIT 08.10.2018: Because of some misunderstandings that were pointed out to me recently, I want to make clear that i AM NOT the designer of the A-LINE collection – i only helped with the organisation.

It was an awesome experience to participate in the making of the first collection of A-LINE (http://www.a-line.at/), to present it on the Vienna Fashion week 2018 and to be both part of the backstage and to catwalk myself as a model.

A-LINE is a luxury brand that was presented on the Vienna Fashion Week with its Art Luxury- Line Collection „CORONA ARTISTICA“. The focus is on the woman of today, that can be anything, as long as it’s not boring. A ready-to-wear collection for the modern lady who wants to feel like Alice in wonderland, because a woman can be a dreamer while remaining practical. The outfits are inspired by artists like Klimt, Hundertwasser, Gaudí, as well as mother nature herself in all her colors, lines and forms. The result is feminine, fairytale, multifunctional unique pieces full of passion and momentum. (quote from http://www.a-line.at/, translated into English)

Black and White

Black and white

Neutral colors like black, gray and white are very popular this season as always, but the combination of black and white only is one of my favorite. Black is visually heavy, deep, serious color, symbol of darkness and mystery and meanwhile associated with intelligence. White carries the meaning of cleanliness, purity, freshness and is the color of the positive. Although being two opposites, they don’t necessarily compete, but can also attract each other – just like in the Yin and Yang symbol. They appeal to me in the same way and very often become part of my outfits. The white is also a symbol of transparency, but a black tulle can have the same effect, just like the one in my photos. All these black transparent clothes are very trendy right now.

Roses, models, summer mood

Roses, models, summer mood

I visited today the fabulous coastal restaurant “Il Siciliano” near St. Vlas, Bulgaria – there I attended a small fashion show they had organised. The topic was on summer mood and relaxed, fluff, semi-transparent apparel. The atmosphere was fitting, but luxurious, with the appropriate beats by the DJ.

There was this hanging chair full of roses, and I could not resist taking the opportunity for a few fashion shots myself. I felt great in my beach outfit in my own fashionway – black and white fitted great to the white ship with the dark sails.

Pineapple pants

Pineapple pants

Summer, sun, vacation, sea coast, relax, ice-cream and of course a fresh outfit – what more does one need for a good day at the beach.

I wore this outfit with the pineapple pants at the beach the other day and was hearing the word “pineapple” all the time and all the comments about the fruit. It was very funny.

Pineapples, watermelons, oranges, apples, bananas – all these fruity prints are everywhere this season – even as pool floats. I am also a fan of them, but shown in a more delicate, indirect way like on the pants on this outfit – in a fashionway.

In love with social

In love with social?

Can a simple outfit create in others the same reactions as the emojis printed on it. Not only can, it always does. When wearing something we see in the expression on the faces of others all kinds of emojis – smilies, grins or even shock. :). Sometimes a very simple outfit can make a great impression – both in person or on a photo, while a luxury one not so much. Of course sometimes the opposite is also true. It is essential carefully to combine the clothes with each situation, time, location and most importantly our mood. Because our face, smile and expression are our live emojis – they make us loved, liked and in love with social.

I am also in love with social – being in contact with many people, showing them my views and combining outfits that also express my mood and feelings, with emojis or not, but always in a fashionway.

Emojis fashion trend is everywhere

Nowadays we text more than talk and each conversation is full of many emojis, showing various expressions. I don’t know if they are stupid or not – people love them, and they become more and more popular, even in the fashion industry. We see more and more often outfits with emojis. The industry absorbs those emoticons and many designers are now offering cool outfits. I find this really great and stylish because a shirt, top or pants printed with emojis can be worth more than a thousand words :). Emojis on your clothes can’t compare to a regular conversation, but can still express meaning and your mood – in a way they can “speak” your feelings forward and why not in a trendy fashionway!

So, this is my feeling at the beach, wearing one of my favorite emoji tops – emotional, smiling, cool and trendy!

Fresh Lemon Yellow Dress

Feeling fresh and fruity!

The lemon fruit – with its pale yellow color, and bitter acid feeling – without doubt not the sharpest one when it comes to fashion.

But the feeling should be fresh and fruity!

I like a lot the tropical and light summer scent feeling that the bright lemon brings. This is why a yellow pale dress always manages to capture me, even though its more challenging than pink. Many people like lemon yellow, but few dare to wear it, because not everyone is eager to be “on the lemon side”. But it is so only at the start.

This difficult to wear color brightens my looks and makes me feel worthy of a compliment at least for the courage. I tend to wear it with a minimum combination of other colors as its hard to match to many – it looks great with black and read, but not overdone – just in a light way, the fashionway.

Pink Love

My grandmother was a tailor. Since those days when i was little, trying to steal every leftover piece of cloth from her to make a new dress for my dolls, pink has been one of my favourite colors.

Why pink? Because pink is girlish, pink is sweet and tender.

That is why I decided my first post to be inspired by my childhood, just like my newly born blog. Back then, it was hard to have what you liked to in your wardrobe, even not impossible, as the system was like that in the country where I lived – only select models were available in the shops – no choice of color, model or style. But I was always secretly dreaming of having one day a wardrobe full of nice dresses, full of colors and of course also pink. Now, a grown up, I have what I wanted and my profession helps me with that. Pink remained my passion, no matter if in or out of fashion.

Colors are transient – some are in fashion, some come out of, but the color you like, is the one in which you look your best. For me – that is my pink love.
