There is always a reason to smile

No matter the season, month or day, I think we can always find ourselves a reason to smile, because when you laugh and love life, life laughs and loves you back :).

Smiling makes us look younger, it can relieve stress, boost our mood, trick our brain to focus on positive thinking and possibly bring many more benefits. But the thing I like most about smiling is it makes us more attractive.

Remember that a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear. Hence, next to wearing your nicest clothes you should never forget finding a reason for putting on your smile, too!

When in doubt be elegant in black

Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy – but mysterious like Yohji Yamamoto have said. I know it’s a quote that is used very often, but I use it too because black will always be black – not only modest, but also trendy and elegant and many more meanings in one.

I like fresh and sweet colours, but honestly I wear black very often. Black gives me the security that I can just put it on without worrying too much about the outfit – I can be ready quickly for going out, no matter the season or the occasion. And also because black will always stay trendy and fashionable, I can focus on the style instead of the trends.

Today I want to show you a piece that will stay forever in style if black – a trouser-skirt. It is also so comfortable and „fairy“, it makes me feel like I am wearing my home pijama, but in a very elegant style. It can also be combined with almost every top or shirt. I just take a short laced one to show the shape of the trouser-skirt.

And remember, women who wear black lead colorful lives 🙂

That’s me

My blog is really all about me and my style, not just photography work. When It started back in 2018 it was just an idea. With time I got more and more into the blogger „story“. I never aimed to be like the other bloggers – I just wanted to show and be myself in my posts.

Maybe sometimes the articles are too short, but I do not want people to read long texts, so I always try to stay to the point and be short – that’s me.

Maybe I often talk about similar or same colors – I have some favourites (like pink for example) and pick them often, even if they are not trendy and fashionable right now – that’s me.

I might be too casual too often, as I like simple, casual, comfortable street style outfits – but that’s me.

At the same time I might also often be too eye-catching – even with simple clothes because I try to never become boring – but that’s me.

Even though my hairdresser constantly asks me to make a change – I like my hair style and I tend to stick to it – straight with nothing more than a small plait – but that’s me.

Some tell me they prefer natural nails with maybe just nail polish, but I really like my nails to be like a piece of art – but that’s me.

Maybe very often I wear jeans or leggings, with a simple top or shirt with sneakers – but that’s me – I like this style. Such is my outfit also today – simple skinny Zara jeans, white Bugatti sneakers, a white top with an accenting transparent MONKI shirt (of course in pink), a sleeveless jeans jacket and a black-pink Victoria’s Secret bag, all of it matched in my „that’s me“ fashionway.

Take your time for things that make you feel alive

As the corona measures are getting more and more relaxed, I am feeling like living again and waiting for the hot summer. With this heightened mood I went over all my shoes, hoping the main problem this summer will be choosing which ones to wear when going out… just kidding, of course. I am the kind of woman who starts building her outfits from the shoes on, as I am a big shoe-lover. I consider that the choice of shoes define my silhouette and I am convinced about that – for example my husband told me that when we first met, the first thing he noticed were my legs and my shoes, then everything else :).

Although the shoes and the bag are considered as „accessories“, for me their role is more important and I never get tired of choosing and changing them regularly. So, shoes, shoes and more shoes… I am dreaming of an incredible shoe collection, in a fashion way. What about you? What type are you – do you match you shoes to your outfit, or the outfits to your shoes?

What a lovely day

Have you thought what you should do to make your days really lovely – no matter if they are sunny or cloudy, bad or good. In the past I was not doing too much about it, but lately i put more effort into that, because i found out that even small and seemingly unimportant things that i never noticed at before, can make my day better. Here are some of my small „lovely“ secrets and tips:

  1. Drink a good tea or coffee
  2. Listen to nice music
  3. Say please and thank you
  4. Smile and laugh more
  5. Show my love
  6. Listen to others
  7. Give compliments
  8. Wish others a lovely day
  9. Cook or bake for the loved ones
  10. Give away old things
  11. Eat the dessert first
  12. Wear perfume
  13. Wear something that makes me feel good in a fashion way

Because lovely days don’t come to you, you should walk to them, so make your own list!

My outfit today is with one of my lovely shirts, a trendy coloured Monki skirt and jacket, a silver rainbow bag and Nike Air Max sneakers.

Decide to shine wherever you are

My approach to making my outfits has always been in the line of „Do not be afraid of looking nice and shine, no matter where you go“. Be it when you are out to a shop nearby, to a party, to the mountains, in the park or even when out for a walk somewhere where no one will see you – always look good. Critique and opinions of others often hold us back, albeit sometimes we should take pieces of it – the ones that have that kernel of truth.

Always refuse to be placed in a niche – you can and should have an impact on the world around you with your brilliance. Shine without waiting or asking for permission. And encourage yourself – every day wear something that brings you satisfaction and joy. You have to recharge yourself and keep being a light for the people around you. Do what the voice within is telling you – you might not always be sure where it will lead, but do it anyway. It is likely leading to glory. Believe in and know yourself – take your brilliance wherever you go!

I intentionally made the photos today around some rocks in the gardens of the Schönbrunn palace – I wanted to show you that even on dark rocky place and with simple clothes you can shine! For this purpose I chose a neon long sleeves shirt matched with a black T-Shirt patterned with „influencer“ words in the same color, simple middle length jeans and LV sneakers.

So, be confident and Shine wherever you are, in your own fashionway!

A pink blouse with puffy sleeves

I seriously cannot believe how quickly the first months of the year flew by and it’s already real spring. However, I am looking forward to warmer temperatures and summer outfits. This sweet pink blouse with puffy sleeves is a great top to transition you from winter into spring, and I would always wear it with a nice skirt and cool tights. This trendy Monki pink top combined with the hearts details on the Calzedonia tights and the Love Moschino bag are giving me life right now. And not only them. Today is a great sunny day in which you don’t need a coat or thick clothes and I’m pretty happy about that! Plus, I enjoy everything around – the singing of the birds, the gentle spring breeze, the smell of the blooming nature and the sight of everything in green – the trees, the grass…

Just floating today on flower jeans

I am always trying to wear clothes that make me feel good in my body, comfortable and confident in my skin because, that all that you are is about how you feel. I enjoy wearing jeans, but since I discovered the mom-jeans I think they will turn out to be my new leggings. They are so comfortable and after their kind was made popular, they became one of my favorites.

High waist, tapered leg, ankle-free – the mom jeans have a high waistband that reaches over the navel with legs converging into carrots. They are often turned upside down with back pockets sitting higher than average with the cut tolerantly hugging the hips.

So how to style them? The advantage of mom jeans is that they make the belly flatter. but unfortunately at the same time the backside often also looks flatter and wider. One has to wear it with a lot of self-confidence in an „I don’t care“ attitude. The rule of thumbs is to have your tops tucked in the jeans, otherwise the outfit looks too big. In my photos you see here, you can see it in both ways – once with a tucked in blouse and a belt on the jeans, and another with the top floating – being a transparent one that works well too. I love the decorations on those Fracomina jeans.

The blouse on this outfit is also Fracomina, bag from Versace Jeans, Pimkie cardigan and Stradivarius shoes.

Saying „No, thank you“ to negative energy

Considering the situation in the world now and the outlook for the coming months, I want to say „No, thank you“ to all the negative energy and thoughts – this is my favorite slogan for the moment – do you have one of your own? Because when we are healthy that is enough to think positive and look optimistically towards the future. I know we hear this all the time, but that is indeed the essence of things.

In that context my outfit today is also a kind of a „No, thank you“ message to all the things that are negative. It is with one of my official coronavirus pieces – a cool hoodie – for the times when someone tries to come closer and shake my hand for example – no thank you!

And as it happens pretty often lately I am in pink again, matched with black – two favourite colors. A pink Zara sweatshirt, a black Pimkie skirt, Calzedonia tights and socks, Michael Kors sneakers and a Victoria‘s Secret bag.

The mood in the city is slowly coming back

After staying home for such a long time, taking a late afternoon walk in the centre of Vienna, which is still unusually empty, feels great. I really miss the old way of life before this crisis, the streets, coffee shops and shops, full of people, but there is also beauty and delight in the calm and quiet – one can see things that previously did not stand out. Even though the city is in sort of a stand still, the spring gives it hope. And the summer is just around the corner and I already can’t wait to get my new outfits for the next season ready.

My outfit today – freestyle, comfortable and careless – an ALCOTT white sweatshirt, a pair of Patrizia Peppe skinny jeans and FILA Sneakers.
