Mint green with black

We’ve seen many different green hues this spring/summer season, but there’s one different and unique green – the pastel mint green. Looking pastel and creamy, the mint green is definitely one of the most special one in the green palette.

While there is nothing new about pastels in spring, the mint green color during the spring 2021 runways felt fresh as ever. After several seasons filled with neon colors, the muted green was really a welcome sight. Mint, aquamarine, avocado, pistachio, moss or laurel – whichever name you choose, this fashion color are on trend this spring/summer.

To be honest, the mint green color is charming, looks comfortable and matches well with many different occasions. Here I have rounded up an outfit with it – the main color is black, with the green as secondary. A Zara oversized shacket jeans shirt, short black Calzedonia biker leggings with a black Zara top, Michael Kors shoes, an eye-catching glittering Bershka belly bag and black sunglasses.

Keep it casual with jogging pants

Due to the pandemic I hardly felt the switch from the winter to the spring, and especially in Vienna, the spring being so cold and short, we somehow skip it all-together and directly jump in the summer mood. That’s why, even though its May already, my wardrobe is still a mix of winter, spring and summer clothes.

Recently when in doubt what to put on, I tend to always choose jogging pants – mainly because it’s the easiest way to look good, feel comfortable and be on trend at the same time. And because I all into the sweet colors mood I have ones in mint, violet, and pink.

Today I matched my violet one from Pimkie with a white Bershka cropped top, one of my favorite Zara shirts that can be matched with almost everything, „I love you“ socks, multi cream Michael Kors Olympia trainers and a sweet white blue belt bag.

All-in-white

In the spring/summer season the all-white looks are always a good choice, no matter the occasion. The monochrome outfits work well for those of us who are not that fancy of colors. But not only for them – sometimes it’s ok to wear something different. The lighter tones work great in summer – the bright white feels airy and one does not need to worry what  to combine it with.

An all-in-white look works best when made out of various materials – they make the same tone have a very distinct appearance and their texture adds depth to the whole look.

In my look today I combine a long cotton Space shirt from Top Shop with an embroidered Zara white shirt and white skinny regular waist angle length H&M denim jeans. Matched together with cream-white Bershka summer shoes they create a great harmonic ensemble.

As you can see, we made the photo shooting of this outfit in Dubai – the fairy white combination in white works great for the conditions there and their somewhat stricter dress codes.

„Only do what your heart tells you“ – princess Diana

I believe that what we feel in our hearts appears in our eyes and the way we look. And as I feel that the spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is, I want to match the sweet blooming trees and flowers – white, pink, yellow, etc. So, I made a summer bouquet of intoxicating colors for my outfits and here is one of them – sweet pink tight fit pants with cut-outs and buckles from Bershka, a Zara white top and a Rinascimento jacket. I topped the outfit with my Michael Kors sunglasses and a small Kenzo bag, again with one of my favorite sneakers – Alexander McQueen.

Effortlessly cool with stretch skinny pants with trendy eye-catching side cutouts

With the coming of the spring/summer season I always feel like putting on something cool, light and eye-catching. So, I found one of my first hot pieces by Bershka – a pair of super chic soft, elastic and stretchy light beige pants with cutouts on the waistband. I matched them with a white Zara top and a short cream-white Just Cavalli jacket. My white Alexander McQueen sneakers with white Nike socks fitted great – they are so comfortable that I feel like I can walk a lot. The whole look I complemented with a cute transparent Alcott “Fashion victim” bag.

Relaxed outfit for the cold days

There are those days, when you want to put on just something comfy and relaxed, but also appropriate for the cold days. Such is my outfit today – with one of my favourite Zara relaxed mom in Austin blue jeans. I like this type of jeans very much because they have a relaxed fit, straight leg and a high rise. I matched them with a black turtleneck top and a brown Zara blazer. Then I topped the outfit with my Balenciaga sneakers which I am in love with, combined with black Nike socks and finished it with a black Fendi bag, in a fashionway.

Spring outfit with knitted overall

With the temperatures increasing a little bit down here in Vienna, my excitement about the coming spring makes me wish to start choosing light clothes, but it is not really warm enough to switch to the spring pieces. As much as I want to start stashing away the winter sweaters and tops, the fresh weather right now gave me the chance to put on this brown knitted Zara overall. It is still a great choice for the early spring – keeps you warm while giving you the opportunity to show some legs. Moreover such knitted pieces like shorts, cropped tops, overalls, etc. are very trendy.

I matched my overall with a black turtleneck body and black accessories – a cute MONKI bag, black gloves, Pimkie boots and topped it with a white teddy coat in a fashionway.

A cool look with jogging pants, not just for at home!

The jogging pants are at the moment the it-piece almost everywhere. That’s because they are good not only for at home or for sport, but also for a casual stroll, shopping, meeting with friends, etc. Even for the office, if your dress code there allows it, especially if well combined with a blazer.

I decided to show you how I combined my joggers in a trendy outfit. Obviously the key piece in that look are those beige jogging pants from Bershka, matched with a crop top of the same material/color and topped with an oversized shirt from Zara. The crop tops really fit great to the sporty bottoms. The whole outfit gets complemented by a Just Cavalli beanie and Michael Kors sneakers in a fashionway.

Minimalist style or all the colors and patterns

The minimalist style is definitely a style that I like – I often stick to black and white or single-tone palettes, but I also never  give up on the colorful palettes.

To be a minimalist means that you live for black and white and maybe, just occasionally a bit of grey or camel; no over-the-top accessoring, no garish patterns or print clashes. No bold color combinations or rainbow brights. There are just all the neutrals, black and white.

It’s a very simple style, but I still love putting some pink or another bright color accessory or piece to freshen up the outfit.  So, the minimalist style as I said is a style that I like and incorporate it in my looks every now and then. Such is my outfit today – all in the beige palette. I matched a white Monki skirt and sweater with a beige Zara coat and Pimkie boots in the same color. I topped the outfit also with a beige bag, a white hat and scarf. I hope you like it! And you – are you for a minimalist style or you prefer all the colors?

Jeans shirt with slouchy high waist jeans

Do you have the feeling that in these crazy Corona times we are less and less motivated to dress up well enough? Our old lifestyle has gone and with it the desire to look good. The few times when we do go out, it is for shopping (as much as shops are open right now), or maybe for a small walk, and then we just put on whatever we find quick with the idea that there is anyway no-one that will see us, moreover with a mask. Still, we should take care of our looks, at least because it gives us some so-needed self-confidence.

Here’s one comfortable look from me today. If you are wondering how to combine a jeans shirt in winter – it’s easy – a good sweater on top and jeans for the bottom match perfectly. A classic sweater with collar look. The one I have on, is a Pimkie cream cable sweater with shoulder details. As for the jeans I chose these trendy slouchy high waist ones also from Pimkie, that being so unorthodox are still very comfortable. The whole outfit I topped with a short beige MONKI jacket, brown velvet Zara boots, whose color works very well as an accent and a black Zara bag.
