„Only do what your heart tells you“ – princess Diana

I believe that what we feel in our hearts appears in our eyes and the way we look. And as I feel that the spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is, I want to match the sweet blooming trees and flowers – white, pink, yellow, etc. So, I made a summer bouquet of intoxicating colors for my outfits and here is one of them – sweet pink tight fit pants with cut-outs and buckles from Bershka, a Zara white top and a Rinascimento jacket. I topped the outfit with my Michael Kors sunglasses and a small Kenzo bag, again with one of my favorite sneakers – Alexander McQueen.

Effortlessly cool with stretch skinny pants with trendy eye-catching side cutouts

With the coming of the spring/summer season I always feel like putting on something cool, light and eye-catching. So, I found one of my first hot pieces by Bershka – a pair of super chic soft, elastic and stretchy light beige pants with cutouts on the waistband. I matched them with a white Zara top and a short cream-white Just Cavalli jacket. My white Alexander McQueen sneakers with white Nike socks fitted great – they are so comfortable that I feel like I can walk a lot. The whole look I complemented with a cute transparent Alcott “Fashion victim” bag.

Spring outfit with knitted overall

With the temperatures increasing a little bit down here in Vienna, my excitement about the coming spring makes me wish to start choosing light clothes, but it is not really warm enough to switch to the spring pieces. As much as I want to start stashing away the winter sweaters and tops, the fresh weather right now gave me the chance to put on this brown knitted Zara overall. It is still a great choice for the early spring – keeps you warm while giving you the opportunity to show some legs. Moreover such knitted pieces like shorts, cropped tops, overalls, etc. are very trendy.

I matched my overall with a black turtleneck body and black accessories – a cute MONKI bag, black gloves, Pimkie boots and topped it with a white teddy coat in a fashionway.

A cool look with jogging pants, not just for at home!

The jogging pants are at the moment the it-piece almost everywhere. That’s because they are good not only for at home or for sport, but also for a casual stroll, shopping, meeting with friends, etc. Even for the office, if your dress code there allows it, especially if well combined with a blazer.

I decided to show you how I combined my joggers in a trendy outfit. Obviously the key piece in that look are those beige jogging pants from Bershka, matched with a crop top of the same material/color and topped with an oversized shirt from Zara. The crop tops really fit great to the sporty bottoms. The whole outfit gets complemented by a Just Cavalli beanie and Michael Kors sneakers in a fashionway.

Minimalist style or all the colors and patterns

The minimalist style is definitely a style that I like – I often stick to black and white or single-tone palettes, but I also never  give up on the colorful palettes.

To be a minimalist means that you live for black and white and maybe, just occasionally a bit of grey or camel; no over-the-top accessoring, no garish patterns or print clashes. No bold color combinations or rainbow brights. There are just all the neutrals, black and white.

It’s a very simple style, but I still love putting some pink or another bright color accessory or piece to freshen up the outfit.  So, the minimalist style as I said is a style that I like and incorporate it in my looks every now and then. Such is my outfit today – all in the beige palette. I matched a white Monki skirt and sweater with a beige Zara coat and Pimkie boots in the same color. I topped the outfit also with a beige bag, a white hat and scarf. I hope you like it! And you – are you for a minimalist style or you prefer all the colors?

The shacket

The oversized shirt jacket or shacket, similar to a blazer, has probably been all over your social network feeds and for good reason, too. This easy-to-wear style is just perfect for your winter/spring layering outfits.

Often seen in plaid or buffalo check, this is one of the season’s most seen over clothes.

When styling the shacket, think of it like a blazer. It’s a good idea to keep it oversized and layered it over a turtleneck top. I love my blue shacket from Zara in this oversized-look and wear it with slim fit faux leather pants, denim or leggings, matched with turtleneck sweaters or turtleneck tank tops. This outfit I finished with my favourite black combat Zara boots and a stylish Fendi black bag, in a fashionway.

One way to style an oversized sweater

Big and baggy sweaters are all the rage this season. I would like to show you one way to wear such a sweater without looking as if you are swallowed by it.

When choosing such sweaters we think that „the bigger and baggier, the better“, but actually that is wrong – if it’s too big we will start looking like a huge sack. If we want to be chick and trendy, we should make good size decisions and stick closer to our standard size for sweaters, because they are anyway purposely designed to be oversized.

As an oversized knit will inevitably make you look bigger than you actually are, the easiest way to solve that is to combine it with form-fitting or narrow bottoms – for instance skinny jeans, leggings, narrow pants, over-knee socks or over-the-knee boots. I personally prefer to wear it on its own without pants or leggings below it.

And to avoid getting lost in this big clothes, we should show some skin – might that be a more generous décolletage or some bare leg.

I combined my oversized black sweater with a pair of black over-the-knee boots. This I matched with my favourite NA-KD coat and some black accessories – a H&M cat hat and a black smiley Bershka bag, in a fashionway.

Black at any time, in any combination

You can wear black at any time, at any occasions and in any combination.

No matter the time of the year I always have a lot of black pieces in my outfits, mainly because they are really easy to match. Honestly, in the past, the black color was predominant in my wardrobe, but the more I followed the fashion trends, the more I reduced it. And not only because of those trends, but also because I realised how beautiful colors could be – colors that I previously thought would not fit me. In fact I also found out something more – we wear the colors that match our mood. Maybe that was the reason that for a long time I was hiding behind the black color. But step by step I changed that, albeit even today, when in doubt, I choose black.

In this outfit I went for a trendy black hoodie with pleats on the back, a black Pimkie booties, a black Valentino bag and a black winter cap, matched with a long beige Zara coat and gray Gucci jeans. So although the black pieces are dominant, adding some fresh colors make the outfit looking nice in a fashionway.

Jogging pants trend

Although originally known as jogging pants when introduced by Adidas, nowadays they find their use in nearly all areas of styling – they even get some front rows in the fashion weeks. If casually styled for the every-day use, or nicely combined in an elegant business outfit – they seem to fit everywhere.

If you still wonder where did the joggers trend come from, must have missed the whole „athleisure“ movement that has been all over the place lately. „Athleisure“ obviously is a combination of „athletic“ and „leisure“, which leads to the style working well both for the free time, as well as for the office.

To achieve a modern look, a statement piece like the jogging pant should be combined with classic items like coats, shirts and even high heels. As it seems, nowadays the sport outfits have become popular also outside of the fitness studios and the open air tracks.

My outfit today, shot in my „still-work-in-progress“ blogger room, consists of tender mint Pimkie jogging pants, a casual Alcott white hoodie with a classic Zara elegant pink shirt underneath. The final touch are my nike sneakers, all combined in a fashionway.

Fluffy coats weather

Cold weather and fluffiness somehow go hand in hand. Moreover a fluffy coat ist not only warm and cozy but also very trendy and you can match with almost everything.

I feel effortlessly chic in this winter outfit today. Pairing a large black faux fur coat with a winter cord shirt, a Pimkie checkered skirt, Calzedonia leggings, chunky black Balenciaga ankle boots and a matching sweet Elisabetta Franchi small bag. And although I am not a huge fan of beanies, this black one with a gold snowflake fits the weather and the outfit nicely. Thus, I’ve achieved a casual glamour look and I love it!
