Pretty with pink

Pink – right now a color with all sorts of trendy connotations. Pale pink, normal pink , girly pink, piggie pink, neon pink, millennial pink – for some time now almost all I see is pink. Millennial pink, to be more precise. It has come to a point where I’m starting to somehow like it. Maybe I’ve become infected?

As I have found out, millennial pink is the color of millennials. Come to think of it, I would say that the clues were there all along. Pink as a little girl, pink in my teens and now – pink everywhere around me and especially on Instagram – nevertheless I never got tired of it and love it all the same.

Contrary to the piggy and girly pink of the recent ears, the millennial pink is a pastel tone with a touch of peach and a slight salmon shade.

The pink, being millennial or other type, I like wearing in any combination, but never being dressed fully in pink like a big pink candy. I like combining this sweet color with some other colors – for instance with white like here and accented accessories. I choose the jeans ones, namely jeans over-knee boots and a jeans bag.

As you already know, I love animals and for this shoot a dog of a friend of mine posed together with me – of course also dressed in a trendy millennial pink jacket. We looked so well together that people who saw us came to us asking for which media we are making the shoot, so I even had to sign some cards :).

Teddy coat trend

All over the streets, the teddy coat has been worn by various faces. It’s clear that this new outwear has taken over today’s street style and almost everyone likes it.

The teddy jacket trend revolves around the look of a cozy, faux fur coat that seems to resemble a teddy bear, hence the appropriate name. The trend that started back in 2016 is still around with its classic style while at the same time evolving into different colors, shapes and silhouettes.

After the fall of 2018, it was clear that the appeal of the teddy coat has tremendously increased. The coat also goes by other names such as faux fur, soft fur jacket, sherpas, teddy coat and any fuzzy descriptive phrases.

As the teddy coat comes with a lot of versatility, allowing for any person to incorporate their personal touch, influencers and celebrities also manage to style theirs in their own way in order to hop on the trend.

All that said – will this trend last? I would say it will stay, for several reasons – it’s cosy, comfortable and warm – ideal for the cold months; at the same time it’s street style and fashionable; it keeps being promoted for already several years in a row, and last but far from least – it is fake leather, no animals harmed.

In the upcoming years, the teddy coat may become even more of a „classic staple“ just like the leather jacket in the past. When buying clothes I always consider if I would be able to wear them more than one season, but with this one I have no worries – I know, no matter the color or style, it will keep finding the way out of my wardrobe.

My outfit today is, of course, with a soft faux fur hooded coat in a yellow trendy color, matched with my always favourite, no matter the brand, skinny jeans from Only and a checkered dark blue shirt (again a trendy color) and black Michael Kors sock sneakers.

Hoodie trend

The hoodie trend is very active at the moment and got everyone talking. But what makes it so popular? Well, it’s inexpensive, easy to style, but most importantly it’s comfortable and fits perfectly to the street style.

I believe nearly everyone has a hoodie in their wardrobe. So, it is very easy to grab one and make a full outfit out of it. But take care – because hoodies are relatively loose and chillig, you have to pick some more elegant toursers. I combine it most often with skinny jeans or fake leather leggings. It could also work with chinos, but if you go for daily jogging pants, your look will quickly become too homy cand casual.

Today I decided to go for a classical hoodie in a very trendy fuxia color, combined with black skinny jeans. To break away from the sporty look of the top, I completed the outfit with an elegant bag and funky sneakers. I love breaking standard styles: in this case a mix of classic and sporty, in a fashion way.

Summer street style in pastel

This is to continue to show you another great side of the mint green color. I’m loving this mint green blouse from Stradivarius – it’s super soft, stretchy and feels light as a feather. Plus, I love the lace, which makes this piece elegant and of course, chic.

This particular mint green top combined with milk summer jeans which also have a mint touch, make a nice silhouette, which gives more of a casual vibe.

I love outfits with a pop of color and that’s exactly what I’m doing here. Mint is one of my favorites to play with during spring and summer. To make this outfit even more exciting, I’m using different shades of mint green with shoes which add a modern touch. Previously I always thought I should never wear pastel colors because they are too boring, but I just love them now and love to make different combinations especially with the textures of the mint green.

Neon green in the nature

I have always associated the light green color with new growth in nature, new beginnings, the coming back to life of plants, new energy, freshness and renewal. That’s why my new post with the trendy neon green is out in the nature today – a natural look surrounded by the healing power of the green color.

And what do we like to wear in spring – something comfortable, casual, light, something that makes us feel free and relaxed. Jeans are always a perfect goal – no matter what happens they are always in fashion. The combination of light color with a high waist is cool and up-to-date now. I am really fond of matching them with wide short shirt and colorful floral summer shoes.

Moreover for me the light green color is like a green light which gives me hope for creating new things and makes me more ambitious – so let the green spring bring you new hope and ambition, too!

All white with a touch of hot pink

After a little shopping at Stradivarius, I was inspired to style something elegant, vivid and casual. My new pink blazer was a perfect choice to look stylish and attractive. Meanwhile I am a person who loves comfortable clothing, so I picked a pair of white skinny jeans and a white top – I really like wearing all white with just a touch of color. As for shoes I chose black printed heels with the same bag from Humanic.

Feeling lazy and casual today

There are some days when you wake up and you’re just like „nope, not today“, especially when it rains and the mood goes down. You just want to go outside, casual and lazy and don’t think about your outfit too much.

My „nope“ today means „no“ to the bad mood. There is something good in every day and every weather. Let‘s smile, wear funny casual clothes ans enjoy the spring time with all it’s beauty. And what does spring beauty mean – blooming flowers, wonderful inspiring smells, freshness everywhere even from the falling rain.

For me, one of the symbols of spring is the lilac bush, adding abundant color to the landscape and scent the air with fragrance. It makes me also especially very happy because violet with all its nuances, bright or dark, is one of trending spring colors. It can be easily combined with neutral ones like grey, white and beige, but meanwhile a combination with gold ot metallic is also perfect. In addition a well combined natural mix between green and violet also deserves a compliment and look elegant in a fashion way.

Spring comes with flower colors

Spring is the season of new coming, new fresh blooming flowers and new colors. Nature has its great beauty, combining all colors in perfect harmony in line with the season, and so should it be in fashion too. It’s hard to choose from the wide variety of the trend palette, but my favorites now are pink, violet, purple like the violets, pansies and crocuses flowers. I like the combination of same colored jacket and tunic together and with some frayed Chanel-type accessories bag and sneakers like the one I am wearing – they make the outfit fancy in fashion way.

Cool mood with silver shine

For me, wearing shiny silver items has always been a little too much. But with this blog post I want to show you a beautiful and natural looking silver blouse outfit that makes me to re-consider. It seems that I might have been missing out on some fun. Wearing shiny silver, something cool and fun now and then can make my casual look special and meanwhile so street style and simple.

As the silver is very fashionable at the moment I choose a silver shirt combined with cool jeans to make my outfit both casual and a “killer”. In addition I smartened it up with a cardigan proper for the season and some comfortable low top sneakers. It was not easy for me to take the challenge of the shiny silvery approach, but you should also try it and you will also feel that it can make your look and feel outstanding, in a fashionway.

Spring gives me wings

After a long winter, the days are getting warmer and the sun is staying out longer. I love the change of seasons. Every new season has something beautiful to offer. So is with the fashion – new trends and new colors are waiting for us. And as the fashion spring/summer palette is full with shades of sun colors, I find them gathered in this wonderful butterfly tunic. The outfit is complemented with those chic pink sunglasses, which also have the form of a butterfly and follow the current pink trend.

When winter gives way to spring, for me this is the favourite change of seasons, as it reminds me it’s time to start getting ready for the coming summer – I am so excited preparing my summer wardrobe… what about you?
