Are pastels the new neutral colors?

Pastels are pale colors that are tender and do not stand out too much, but still bring colors to an outfit while acting neutral. Being so baby sweet and delicately tender, I would wear them all the time.

I find the pale pink and pastel petrol to be a great combination. I matched a pale pink blazer with a short lace pastel petrol top and short denim cycling shorts. Finished the whole look with a black Furla bag and pink-black block heels, in a fashionway.

Pink, pinker, pinkest – Pinko

The pink panther is a TV character from my childhood known also as “Pinko”. Since wearing Pinko brand clothes and accessories some years ago, I always related the two. For that reason my post today is in front of this fantastic graffiti which fits the cool pinko bag „love me tender“. As the bag itself is unique and the highlight of the outfit, the rest of my look is in simple black and white – a basic Zara T-shirt with padded shoulders, black short pants and a La Bottine pantolettes, matched in a fashionway.

Blazers are not only for a business look

Blazers are often considered super restraining and as something for colder weather. I tend to disagree – blazers are great and can be used all year long – have a look at this white one with wrinkled sleeves for example – it’s a great piece that could be matched with different outfits every season.

No matter how you wear them, blazers truly are wardrobe essentials. This one I wear with a beige nude top, short jeans and nude heels. I topped it off with a long Pandora necklace and a matching Hermes belt. Of course this look is not strictly business, as a blazer would suggest, but can be casual, street and undemanding. In fact, blazers are being worn more and more in a casual sense than in a professional one.

Tender pastel purple

I am so in love with the pastel colors this season that I would wear every day something in this palette.

I found this sweet dress by Zara – trendy, comfortable and easy matchable with the accessories. I top it off with black block heeled sandals, colorful bag as an accent, dainty simple earrings, black sunglasses and nude, minimal makeup for a fresh look. As this September is still warm like in the summer time, this outfit keeps me comfy yet stylish at the same time, in a fashionway.

Dear summer, please don’t go!

Summertime is like a song for me – it plays in my mind until the next one comes. This year, because we moved in a new house and we thus missed the vacation season – the summer slipped away unnoticed. And now September tries its best to make us forget the summer – but I will nevertheless try to keep the feeling – by enjoying the sunshine, swimming and having some rest at home by the pool.

By the way I think that this baby pink colour is so sweet, even for a swimsuit. The flower parreo in pastel colors matches nicely in a fashionway.

Bikinis, one-piece or something else

I always wondered which swimsuit suits me better – bikinis or a whole swimsuit. Truth be told, I never fancied being long ours in the sun, neither am I an avid swimmer – so, I have always wanted something in-between. This summer I found these fancy swim-ready top and swimming panties, who are both comfortable and looking great at the pool.

Moreover, the black and white combination has always been one of my favourites – it works great with different outfits, but it does so also for swimsuits, in a fashionway. I can’t forget to mention the black sunglasses with their trendy form, that I like very much. I hope you like it!

Light and easy

There are certain pieces that I would happily wear the whole summer, just like my jumpsuit today. It’s light, comfortable and I do not need to think how to combine it. In addition the colors are very neutral, nature-like and still, I can both wear it for a walk in the park, as well as a casual outfit for the streets. And for the hot summer days for me it is important not only to have fashionable but also practical clothes.

I combined it with one of my favourite Fracomina jeans bag and Stradivarius block heels with transparent straps. Of course, the sunglasses are always a welcome addition in the summer days.

So, it’s really good to have some airy, easygoing and casual pieces in our wardrobes wich we can wear in an easy fashionway.

Be colorful

Are you the type that likes more colors for the summer, or the one who wants to show the simplicity of one or two colors? I am a big fan of definite colors like pink and black, but the summer time carries with it thoughts of more vibrant palettes – the summer should be colorful!

In summer I have always tried to be different and original with my outfits, no matter if out in the streets, at the beach, party, working or at home. „Different“ means no boring colors but rather fresh and trendy – the ones that make me confident. No matter if 2, 3 or more colors are matched together, the most important thing is to do it in a comfortable and fashionway.

In summer I always put more colors in my outfits, not only for the daily clothes, but of course also for the beach or the pool – like with this overall I have on today – colorful from orange to pink with some mint.

Try it – it really pays off to play with some eye-catching colors and attract attention that way!

It‘s all good when wearing coral pink

One of the biggest color trends that you can see everywhere this summer is the coral pink – it combines the warmth of coral with the delicacy of pink. This soothing, feminine hue is chic to wear both day and night – perfect for evening affairs when it comes in textured fabrics, such as silk, sequins, and tulle and also nice for the day for jeans material, cotton, linen etc.

I already have several pieces in coral pink in my summer wardrobe but this coral jeans skirt is one of my favourites and I am happy that it matches with almost every T-Shirt, especially when done in a fashionway.

…just have more fun

Basic, but stylish ?. I like basic T-shirts and tops with a small logo very much, with short text or quotes – they are simple and eye-catching at the same time, giving the outfit this cute casual feeling. Moreover very often a simple top is the main centre of attention, no matter how good the shorts, skirt or trousers are.

In my outfit today I chose a lovely short jeans skirt painted with palms, but I think the main piece is really 100% the batik „pink power“ Zara shirt, which I trendy knotted for fun. So, basic is more than basic , if chosen in fashionway. Do you also already have your basics for the hot summer days? And remember – have fun when making your outfits – it will also affect your looks.
