The first summer fashion weekend, St. Vlas

My summer days in Bulgaria were full of pleasant events and I want to share some of them with you in my blog.

I will start with „The first summer fashion weekend“, St. Vlas, Marina Dinevi Yacht Port. Famous desigers were presented there with brands not only from Bulgaria, but also from abroad. Just to name some: Esil Duran, Sena Design, Karamdaya, Viktoria K with designer Viktoria Krasteva, Miravision, Sherri Hill (she is an American fashion designer and business lady, specialized on evening attire), Wolm, Amarine, Faith in Fatih, Princess by Sonya and Silvana, Marvin Nonis.

The fashion shows were amazing, the presentation great and full of emotions – I am sharing here some shots from the event so you can catch a glipse of it all.

White overall

It’s such a quick post today because this overall speaks for itself and needs no description.

I have always worn simple street style jeans overalls, so I never imagined there could be such an elegant one, one that makes the look so marvelous. I have been on a serious overall kick ever since I got this one from Kiara Fashion and the fantastic designer Gergana Apostolova. It is comfortable, eye catching, suitable not just for the day, but also as a more formal evening outfit. I would highly recommend such a piece for your wardrobe to complete your fashion collection, in a fashion way.

Hot pink dress in the hot summer

I love the hot summer weather – I’m a real summer child and would like that the summer never ends so I can endlessly wear my summer outfits.

My outfit today is a wonderful dress from the fashion brand „Imane“ with head designer Antoniya Stoyanova who was the designer Nr. 1 for 2018 in Bulgaria. They offer women’s clothing on par with the latest world fashion trends. The collections cover both every day as well as evening attire – they have something for everyone and for every taste – classic, extravagant or casual.

I am so happy to wear this great dress with airy, light and freely falling material which is so comfortable to wear, especially on hot days. At the same time it makes you look super elegant and feminine, perfect for a day out.

I wear it with a matching ? cap, one of my favorite Steve Madden block heels ? from Humanic and a transparent watermelon ? formed bag, as the transparent bags are a total trend this summer.

Say yes to the fruits

Fruit prints are very popular this season, so today I’m going to talk about incorporating them into your outfits. The most common patterns you are seeing this summer are the citrus ones! Lemons, oranges and limes are making their way onto dresses, tops, and accessories.

You can pair very easily a fruit print top with shorts or skirt and feel casual enough to be comfortable yet at the same time stylish.

But the trick to making fruit prints look chic and not overdone is keeping the rest of your outfit less busy. For example, when trying to pair one of your fruit-emblazoned pieces with a pair of shorts, jeans, skirt or capris choose them in one color and a maximum of  two appropriate colors for the accessories. And no matter high heels, flats or wedges try to feel comfortable and in a fashion way!

My favorite fruit piece this summer is a fruit top, what is yours?

How do we wear a bodysuit?

In the same way like the one-piece swimsuit the bodysuit is also one of my favorite. This one-piece wonder offers support, flexibility and a variety of styling options from professional to downright sexy looking. But why and how do you wear one?

Bodysuits are one-piece garments, similar to a leotards made from the finest nylon tricot that come in a range of styles from long sleeved and blousey to spaghetti strapped, cut-off and skintight ones. They function as any shirt would (except a crop top). Most bodysuits also provide tension from the shoulders to the crotch to help play up your curves, especially with low-cut necklines. They basically lift you up and work as the perfect base layer for any outfit! Bodysuits could be worn almost with everything – skirts, pants, shorts and jeans – any bottom you can think of. Styling a bodysuit can range from casual, sexy street style, to a professional glamorous look.

When going casual, think simple styles in stretchy fabrics to make an eye-catching look. Simple tank top bodysuits (with some fun details like an open back or lacing up the sides) look great paired with denim shorts, jogger pants or distressed jeans. And the best choice for shoes are some sneakers or a low block heels.

I choose a silver, shiny off-the-shoulder, cut-out to the chase bodysuit with open back matched with black shorts and block heels.

So, what is your favorite? If you don’t have one go and look for it – it is a great piece to incorporate into your wardrobe, in a fashion way.

Finding favorite summer „uniforms“

Summer is in full swing and one of my favorite go-to daily uniforms is definitely the cut off jeans shorts and a strap top. They are easy to throw on, no-hassle and there are really many different cute ones out there in the shops. I especially like the jeans shorts with decorations like patches, sequins or paintings. In the upcoming articles I will also show you another of my favorite summer outfits.

And remember – do not complain how hot it is in the summer and don’t think that the contents of your closet feel extremely unapproachable – there are always many cute summer outfits to find no matter if it is just simply shorts with a top or even something more simple. Much more important than wondering about that, is feeling good and always if possible in your fashionway.

Of course don’t forget the accessories – my favorite for this summer are the ones in neon pink and green colors and in fruit forms – I am in love with my transparent watermelon ? bag and Ananas ? bracelet.

Would you wear your swimsuits 365 days a year?

With this post I will continue the topic of my previous one – namely swimsuits. I already wrote that I’m not a bikinis fan, but I like summer so much and dream to live somewhere where the summer lasts forever, that I keep asking myself – what would it be like to wear bikinis 365 days a year?

I guess it would be a challenge, but one that maybe one day I will be able to take up. I would then wear not just one-pieces, but any kind I could find – different sets, combinations, colors and forms. Here I chose a set where the top highlights the breasts, while the bottom part gently highlights the curves of the body. The color of course is highly important – even if the model is great, if its not in the correct color it looses the effect.

Isn’t it true that some of the most required things you need for a great beach day is a slay bikini set to show off your beautiful unique body and your good mood. But how is the good mood coming – when you feel good and look nice in a fashionway. Don’t forget also to pick a good pareo – my personal favorite pareo color is black.

One-piece swimsuit or bikinis?

I am so super excited about today’s post, because while normally I write about clothes – today it’s about swimsuits. As you know, I travelled to the Black sea in Bulgaria and one of my favorite parts of getting ready for the trip is picking out the beach attires. It is hard for me to find a swimsuit I like because honestly I am not a bikinis fan – I usually wear tankinis or one-piece. Over the years, I’ve found that if I look in the right places and pick the right brands, I can find swimsuits that can really make me feel self confident and pretty.

It’s really comfortable and while I am not so eager to lay on the beach, for swimming it’s perfect .

Moreover this year the one-piece swimsuits have somehow become a fashion trend. It’s so super hard to find one-pieces that are both modest while still sexy and make you look young. So I have hunted down my faves and am sharing them all with you in this and the articles to come!

What about you, are you more for bikinis or for one-piece? No matter what kind you’ll choose, think about how you feel better and match it in a fashionway.

Vintage but trendy

Looking for a new look this summer and some style inspiration for creating a new outfit? I have for you an easy, casual proposal: why not a lovely holed or knitted top/tunic in a vintage look? I always thought clothes of a knitted lace type are too vintage and look like something from my grandma’s wardrobe. I am sure that every woman has something similar and know it very well. But they should not be underestimated – they are perfect for the summer and would work well with any high waisted skirt, shorts or pants. I personally chose the classic black color under it – high waisted shorts and a balconette. So, don’t wait – find your vintage knitted tunic and go for it – style it in fashionway!

Feeling purple

Today, I’m “showing-off” my beautiful purple dress from the amazing “Balina”, which is simply great! I am not a fan of wearing often elegant or formal dresses but sometimes for special occasions it gives me a nice feminine feeling. This dress has a modern design, nice for the summer with its no shoulder look and it’s just perfect for the city night, a cocktail evening or any formal occasion. Really gives you that confident flair. Moreover, I think for such a dress clean looks are just splendid.

I also wear with pleasure my great silver-gold shiny high heels from Humanic.

Hopefully you like today’s look and maybe you will also choose the trendy purple color for a future occasion, in a fashionway.

What I wore:

  • Balina dress
  • Humanic high heels
