Super cute colors for a cute look

You can always have a full game with each of these sweet currently trendy colors – yellow, pink, blue, mint. They look beautiful together as much as they look beautiful by themselves. I chose accessories in these candy colors in order to wear them with different outfits all summer long – yellow-pink-blue block heels, a sweet pink bag and fashy hat in white-pink-blue. Today I matched my cute accessories with a little white dress in a fashionway and I am eager to match them with other outfits further. Have you already chosen your favourite sweet cute colors for the summer?

June mood

Although it’s already mid-June – it’s incredible how with the whole pandemic situation time flew by and it’s already June – the weather in Vienna is not really warm yet, but rather unstable. That’s why I am very unsure if the day calls for a summer outfit, or maybe rather not.

Still, for me, the beginning of June marks the start of the summer, therefore I am completely in the appropriate spirit – short pants, fancy tops, summer dresses, sandals, flip flops, bikinis, pool time and of course the sea. But this summer for me is a bit special – as we are moving to a new house, there will be only pool time at home, no travel to the seaside like every year. That doesn’t bring me down, on the contrary – I will always find time to travel, but moving into one’s own new house does not happen that often. I’m extremely happy that the house of dreams of my family is now a fact.

In that line of thought, my outfit today is with black shorts from Zara – I like all kinds of shorts – be it formal or fancy, because they are comfortable and easy to combine with other stuff. The top piece is from ALCOTT – once more in my favourite pink, but with long sleeves because of the changing weather. The look is completed by the accessories – a cute black Valentino bag and summer shoes from Humanic, in a fashionway.

A cardigan is always a loved piece

As the weather in may still varies a lot, a light cardigan is always a good piece to have around. But being very comfortable, a cardigan can also be very tricky and can easily ruin our outfit – that’s why you should know how to wear it without looking funny and frumpy.

The first thing is to figure out the style and length of the cardigan that fits best your body type. As with everything else about fashion, women’s bodes are different, so certain styles would be more flattering on some than others. That’s why you should learn what works best for your own body.

And it’s good to wear form-fitting clothes underneath a cardigan, or tight or belted dresses. Especially if the cardigan is a bit slouchy, you have to make sure the silhouette underneath it is form-fitting, otherwise you might look larger than you are.

The next thing to pay attention to is the fit of the arms – my favourites are the ones that have skinnier arms and feel the most slimming.

Also, feel free to show some skin – especially when most of the rest of your body is covered up. It’s more about what you put under your cardigan than the style of the cardigan itself. For example – if you combine with a turtleneck top – choose a sleeveless one, with open shoulders or collar bones. If you wear a normal shirt don’t cover the neckline with a scarf – show some skin instead.

In all that you should still pay attention to the current trends – right now, open cardigans are pretty hot – with holes, semi-transparent and with a different length on both sides.

I chose a holed pale pink cardigan, matched it with a black sleeveless turtleneck top underneath and skinny jeans. Of course, I can’t miss the accessories because they complete the outfit – a long necklace and earrings with a matching bracelet, sunglasses and a bag and shoes with the same colors and details.

That’s me

My blog is really all about me and my style, not just photography work. When It started back in 2018 it was just an idea. With time I got more and more into the blogger „story“. I never aimed to be like the other bloggers – I just wanted to show and be myself in my posts.

Maybe sometimes the articles are too short, but I do not want people to read long texts, so I always try to stay to the point and be short – that’s me.

Maybe I often talk about similar or same colors – I have some favourites (like pink for example) and pick them often, even if they are not trendy and fashionable right now – that’s me.

I might be too casual too often, as I like simple, casual, comfortable street style outfits – but that’s me.

At the same time I might also often be too eye-catching – even with simple clothes because I try to never become boring – but that’s me.

Even though my hairdresser constantly asks me to make a change – I like my hair style and I tend to stick to it – straight with nothing more than a small plait – but that’s me.

Some tell me they prefer natural nails with maybe just nail polish, but I really like my nails to be like a piece of art – but that’s me.

Maybe very often I wear jeans or leggings, with a simple top or shirt with sneakers – but that’s me – I like this style. Such is my outfit also today – simple skinny Zara jeans, white Bugatti sneakers, a white top with an accenting transparent MONKI shirt (of course in pink), a sleeveless jeans jacket and a black-pink Victoria’s Secret bag, all of it matched in my „that’s me“ fashionway.

Take your time for things that make you feel alive

As the corona measures are getting more and more relaxed, I am feeling like living again and waiting for the hot summer. With this heightened mood I went over all my shoes, hoping the main problem this summer will be choosing which ones to wear when going out… just kidding, of course. I am the kind of woman who starts building her outfits from the shoes on, as I am a big shoe-lover. I consider that the choice of shoes define my silhouette and I am convinced about that – for example my husband told me that when we first met, the first thing he noticed were my legs and my shoes, then everything else :).

Although the shoes and the bag are considered as „accessories“, for me their role is more important and I never get tired of choosing and changing them regularly. So, shoes, shoes and more shoes… I am dreaming of an incredible shoe collection, in a fashion way. What about you? What type are you – do you match you shoes to your outfit, or the outfits to your shoes?

Taking in the fresh air of spring

The sweet breeze outside will put a smile on your face and make you enjoy your day. It always amazes me, how, just taking a walk outside instead of being online all day can make you feel as happy as only nature can. Especially these days, having that part of your day, when you just do nothing, is really important. I need to clear my mind to be productive and there are many ways to do so – meditating for example or just relaxing and having a coffee are some of my favorites.

Today’s outfit is in the trendy pastel violet. The skinny jeans with the sweet glittering hearts are combined with Bugatti sneakers, a tiny bag and Michael Kors sunglasses.

How I stay positive and calm

People ask me all the time – how do you manage to stay so positive and calm? I am usually not writing about such topics, but having in mind the whole situation with the Covid-19 virus now, I decided to lay down some words on this question.

We often look at the world and consider it as negative. That’s not surprising, because just taking a glance at the news media could make the steadiest person depressed. Or looking around and realising how often people say dumb things about each other, how some show their jealousy and hate – it happens everyday and everywhere. But calling the whole world negative would be a misjudgment. It will only cause frustration which makes you even more angry and unhappy.

If you blame others for your negative feelings, nobody would hear or know about it – it would be only you who suffers. But if you try to blame yourself for your own negative feelings, you are making a step ahead ot at least make progress. But to really stay positive stopping blaming is the wisest thing to do.

Some of the other things that make me positive are. First – I don’t take everything personally – we very often analyse every single word people say or things they do, but all that is not always personal. Second – I let my feelings out and say what I think. Our Life is basically one challenge after the other and very often we keep our feelings “in a safe place” – inside ourselves. I try to not keep inside feelings like anger, frustration and anxiety on one side and joy, happiness, loveliness, etc. on the other. Third – I learned to be grateful about everything, good or bad, because even from the bad you can learn good lessons. And last but not least – if you want to be positive don’t stay on the same spot for too long and constantly work on yourself and follow your dreams, because if you do, you know that you have a chance to improve your life. And to me, that’s the best use of my time and energy. Also never forget to give your love even to people that don’t like you.

At the end I want to share this great quote: “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”/Napoleon Hill/ – doing small things in the right direction, will for sure make you feel better.

Just a few words about the outfit that goes with this post – a sweater in one of the 2020 colors – blue, combined with white and black, matched with one of my favorite Calzedonia faux fur leggings, Michael Kors booties, trendy black sunglasses and a Diana&Co Firenze Italian bag

Pretty with pink

Pink – right now a color with all sorts of trendy connotations. Pale pink, normal pink , girly pink, piggie pink, neon pink, millennial pink – for some time now almost all I see is pink. Millennial pink, to be more precise. It has come to a point where I’m starting to somehow like it. Maybe I’ve become infected?

As I have found out, millennial pink is the color of millennials. Come to think of it, I would say that the clues were there all along. Pink as a little girl, pink in my teens and now – pink everywhere around me and especially on Instagram – nevertheless I never got tired of it and love it all the same.

Contrary to the piggy and girly pink of the recent ears, the millennial pink is a pastel tone with a touch of peach and a slight salmon shade.

The pink, being millennial or other type, I like wearing in any combination, but never being dressed fully in pink like a big pink candy. I like combining this sweet color with some other colors – for instance with white like here and accented accessories. I choose the jeans ones, namely jeans over-knee boots and a jeans bag.

As you already know, I love animals and for this shoot a dog of a friend of mine posed together with me – of course also dressed in a trendy millennial pink jacket. We looked so well together that people who saw us came to us asking for which media we are making the shoot, so I even had to sign some cards :).

Dear winter, I think you need a vacation, it’s time to let spring start!

Although in Vienna the winter is not a real winter because we rarely have snow, and although it’s still cold, I am already looking forward to my favorite season – the spring and I am even ready for the summer right now. For me the summer always passes away so quickly that even with the winter being so mild I am very much looking forward to the hot season. I can’t wait to see my favorite trees blossom, to smell the spring freshness and to hear the birds singing.

So, seeing the rustling river and this I iced frozen pool I tried imagining that it’s already summer, even being dressed in this thick sweater. I meanwhile love this roughly weaved O‘Neil sweater, with the the Shawn Mendes trendy pink cap and my new Nike Air max 270 sneakers, of course all of them matched in a fashion way.

Early spring

Early spring is my favorite season for fashion, so when I finally have the possibility to put less layers on, I happily take some off and match my outfits accordingly. Today’s look of mine is based on the over-knees – from ponchos and capes to trenches and short coats, over-the-knee boots make a statement and always flawlessly complete my look.

Thera are many different ways to wear your long boots but I think in this season nothing beats a good sweater dress with a pretty short skirt to complement the over-the-knee boots. Instead of freezing your bare legs in the not-yet-so-warm weather and pretending you are not, or wondering which tights to put on, these are actually really warm and look always trendy.

I have put together my LV over-the-knees with a brown sugar velvet skirt, a black Zara sweater shirt, a cutie faux fur short coat and a LV bag. I wear these during the whole fall, winter and early spring, because they go with any outfit you can think of: jeans and a coat, a sweater dress and a jacket or a short skirt and a blazer. These over-the-knee boots have never met an outfit they can’t elevate in a fashion way.
