Dogtooth print

It’s the trend that combines two true loves – pets and prints – yes, it’s dogtooth. First seen in Scotland back in the 1800s, it has been a wardrobe favourite which had its ups and downs through the years – but I’m pretty happy that it’s back again.

From all the black and white prints that I love, dogtooth is definitely one of my favourites. These dogtooth trousers from Calzedonia have been in my wardrobe for a while, but I have actually worn them just a handful of times – a reason might be that I was not really sure what to combine them with. Today I matched them with a black shirt featuring details with the same print – I think print with print items pair well. I find a gray coat to be a good complement to the outfit, as a black one would be too boring. I’m really digging this combo though. It has a bit of a retro feel to it, without being too gimmicky. The black boots from Zara and the Pinko bag finish the outfit as accents, in a fashionway.

Something checkered – yes, of course!

Checkered pants or leggings – I’m going for both . They are just beautiful and almost everyone is wearing them because they have this chic vibe to them. French style mixed with retro, they are like this fashion challenge everyone’s doing, wearing them to fit their own looks. Some girls wear them with sneakers, some go for heels; some wear them relaxed and chic, while others go for sleek office formal styles.

I like wearing them on different occasions, but today I am going in a city street style and match my checkered Calzedonia leggings with a simple black shirt, accessories and once again one of my favorite teddy coats – the one in yellow.

For achieving a classic look with such kind of pants, grab a basic shirt or singlet out from the back of your wardrobe and pair it with them. White, grey, naxy, black and tan tops are also great options, matched in a fashion way.

Casual glam with guacamole green

There are two shades of green trending in this Fall 2019’s fashion colors, very different from each other – guacamole and eden. Guacamole is my favorite and it is considered one of the „Classics“ this season, being called „nutrient-enriched“ green. Eden on the other hand is a forest green.

Moreover, guacamole green is great if you wish to be bold on color this season because it’s tasteful, soul-calming and very refreshing. It’s somehow intriguing and untypical. Certainly a color to make you stand out.

I found my best matching part for outfits at CALZEDONIA – a pair of glam leggings. And as I currently tend to stick to the oversized sweaters and blousons here I combine it with a long yellow one from Pimkie. Here I find the black accessories a perfekt match – they include shoes by Zara and a Tally WEiJL belly bag. Meanwhile the belly bags are not only in trend byt they are also comfortable and can be eye-catching in a fashionway.

Sugar almond over-the-knee boots – sexy, classy, elegant and stylish

There is no doubt – over-the-knee boots are always desired and if they are worn properly they could be even more interesting than they look. The most important thing to consider when wearing this kind of boots is choosing minimalistic outfits – this always leads to the coolest looks.

In this case simplicity is the better choice when matching the clothes. A short dress, a tunic, a long blazer or a blouse/sweater with a short skirt are always a great match. One of my favorite combinations when going casual is with a long oversized sweater. Oversized und baggy tops are the perfect go – tight-fitting tops don’t look as fashionable with high boots. Also, avoid wearing over-the-knee boots with leather, deep décolleté, or leopard prints. Instead, you should pair them with clothing that is covered up at least one way, such as turtleneck sweaters, maxi hemlines or a coat to top off your look.

As for color, black over-the-knee boots are beautiful and elegant. They complement any other color of the dress. But gray and brown high boots are also good choices – like the black high boots, they are worth keeping. And because I like variety in my outfits I chose a pair of trendy sugar almond colored boots with an oversized long dark grey sweater. Sugar almond color is one of the top colors for the fall/winter 2019 – it is a sweet, smoky shade of brown, but lighter. It’s mixed with other tones of warmth that gives it an appetising and sweet appearance, in a fashion way.

Hoodie trend

The hoodie trend is very active at the moment and got everyone talking. But what makes it so popular? Well, it’s inexpensive, easy to style, but most importantly it’s comfortable and fits perfectly to the street style.

I believe nearly everyone has a hoodie in their wardrobe. So, it is very easy to grab one and make a full outfit out of it. But take care – because hoodies are relatively loose and chillig, you have to pick some more elegant toursers. I combine it most often with skinny jeans or fake leather leggings. It could also work with chinos, but if you go for daily jogging pants, your look will quickly become too homy cand casual.

Today I decided to go for a classical hoodie in a very trendy fuxia color, combined with black skinny jeans. To break away from the sporty look of the top, I completed the outfit with an elegant bag and funky sneakers. I love breaking standard styles: in this case a mix of classic and sporty, in a fashion way.

Enjoying the last summer feeling days

I think I was made for sunny days and I find my happiness where the sun shines.

I also believe that those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves. Sunshine and happiness go together like fish and chips! Keep your face to the sunshine and you will not see the shadows!

With this in mind today I decided to share with you an outfit touched by the sun and in the so trendy for the autumn mustard color. But as i dont like being monotonous, I chose a strip tunic with yellow, white and red accessories. I found the white LIO JO jeans here to be a good match.

So, I wish you always walk in sunshine and try to think about your fashion way.

A classy fabulous orchid dress

We are always on the go, and often it’s hard to keep up with the latest looks and trends. But a fairy, thin, floral dress is an option just waiting to jump into your closet. This Kiara Fashion dress is the look that will take you from blah to bold, to classy and fabulous.
With such a dress you can find the right way to rock your personal style with class. I’m not a fan of glaring outfits, but this one in particular hits the sweet spot between being too chic and simple. I always liked Orchids and this dress warmed my heart, in a fashion way

Still trying to gather some summer feeling

As the summer nears its end we start to miss the sunny days. But don’t regret it because it’s over, smile, as this is how the world works – a new season with it’s new opportunities is coming.

And most importantly try to be happy, because „People don’t notice whether it’s winter or summer when they’re happy.“ — Anton Chekhov

I am trying to do the same by enjoying the sunny days, still dressed with my summer clothes, wearing this beautiful Intimissimi body. It is one of my absolutely favorites, matches almost everything, even with a blazer in the autumn.

The first summer fashion weekend, St. Vlas

My summer days in Bulgaria were full of pleasant events and I want to share some of them with you in my blog.

I will start with „The first summer fashion weekend“, St. Vlas, Marina Dinevi Yacht Port. Famous desigers were presented there with brands not only from Bulgaria, but also from abroad. Just to name some: Esil Duran, Sena Design, Karamdaya, Viktoria K with designer Viktoria Krasteva, Miravision, Sherri Hill (she is an American fashion designer and business lady, specialized on evening attire), Wolm, Amarine, Faith in Fatih, Princess by Sonya and Silvana, Marvin Nonis.

The fashion shows were amazing, the presentation great and full of emotions – I am sharing here some shots from the event so you can catch a glipse of it all.

Wearing total white

Even if they say that the total white look has a monotonous impression, personally I like it very much. Also adding some stylish accessories can make the boring look come to back life, which will then not only highlight the temperament of the white but also enhance your individuality.

For this wonderful easy breezy jumpsuit I choose one of my favorite „Lady Di“ hats with a wide brim, fancy eyeglasses, white transparent shoes and this total hit bag – vintage white bamboo arc clutch bag. This half-moon bag is a great edition of 1960s vintage Japanese bamboo picnic bag – the original vintage version of Cult Gaia’s super trendy bag.

One could say this bag is too small, not comfortable etc., but I like it so much that I can wear it with any outfit and it will immediately make the looks great. I can just some add heels, shorts or skirt with any off the shoulder top and go out, of course in a fashion way.
